This was such a great purchase! I have an issue with pigeons sitting on the beams of my pergola and making a mess. All over my patio furniture and outdoor grilling area. Disgusting!I also had several cats making their way through my outdoor kitchen and grilling area, which antagonized my dogs. No more issues!They are the perfect solution to keep the birds and cats off the beams. Everything has been so clean and wonderful. They are humane, so don’t worry. The strong materials are not harmful to the animals. I love the long spikes! It has really made difference. I have not had to power wash my pergolas in weeks. If you have those kind of issues, you need to buy this product.

We have a major issue with birds sitting on our deck railing and soiling the deck. We have used the wire deterrents and they work very well, but they are difficult to install and trap a lot of detritus. We tried some shorter plastic spikes but they were totally ineffective. These spikes are relatively east to install, they are very effective at discouraging the birds from landing, and, so far, they are trapping less stuff. I will be replacing all of my wire spikes with these.

I purchased these to keep birds out of a carport. I attached them to the rails with zip ties and that stopped the birds from landing on them. I tied a few together and placed on top of a motion light. Within a week, the birds had built a nest on them.They seem a little over priced for just being thin plastic but do work. I did break a few trying to pry apart as they are stacked together for shipping.

We 'had' a raccoon that could reach over and grab our bird feeder. We did close the bird-feeder but he went to gnawing on the wire as an attempt to get to the seed. Nailed two rows of these to a board and put them out on deck railing. Rock Raccoon did attempt to sit on these but obviously was not happy - he chose to jump on the feeder where he was pitched off.......and we have yet to see him return.Looking like these spikes worked like a charm. Thanks to one reviewer that said these kept them off his garage cans. Previously I was going to get the shorter spikes but bought these from that one review. Most spikes have a review that say that squirrels and raccoons are not affected by the spikes. Glad these longer ones came up the last time I searched = we were starting to get so frustrated. Now, in away we miss watching the Raccoon attempt to get at our seed! Suffice it to say these do seem to work on raccoons.!

These are awesome, easy to install, keeps pigeons from making a mess in the stairwell. Sturdy, easy to fold or cut, zip tie or screw to anything. So…Easy…

The media could not be loaded.  They are cheap and will not withstand heat of any type. They were not easy to install for the 3 months they lasted.

I love this birds spikes.But they are stuck each other very tight and I couldn’t divide them easily.And some spikes broken…that’s why I gave only 3 stars.(product is 5stars)

Light weight and simple to set up. Does the trick for doing this on your own quickly and inexpensively. Need to purchase adhesion pieces (I bought inexpensive zip ties). Come stacked in packaging so separating can be time consuming (and protect your hands from getting poked) and the pieces separate at the perforations sometimes too easily (if you want a full 3 piece long portion for example).

These work amazingly well for my application! I can’t say they’ll work in every situation but they did for me! I was so exhausted and tired of robins getting in under our gazebo and trying to build nests there every spring and summer! What a mess of twigs and mud all over our patio furniture!!!!!! They are unrelenting!!!! We would get attacked for weeks on end by several Robin pairs looking to build nests there!! Doesn’t help that my neighbour feeds birds either!!!!!! Errrrrrrrrrr!These are sharp! Come in black or brown! They work very well! They have screw holes to attach, they bend in multiple directions, and are easy to cut length-wise or cross sectionally! You can even custom cut them!No matter what I tried previously multiple robin nesting pairs would just come back….over and over again! In fact they would start building at 5:00 am in the morning and by 9:00 am they’d have half a nest built and my entire gazebo a mess with debris everywhere! This would go on and on for months on end! After installing these I watched the same robins trying to get up into that area only to be totally deflected and fall to the ground stunned - the next day nothing! Problem is solved permanently! No more vacuuming for hours and pressure washing everything off from the mud they also brings in! I wish I got these years ago!100% completely satisfied and these are priced very reasonably and much easier to install over wire varieties! Fantastic product! Thank you so much for offering these! Now if we could only get people to stop feeding birds and wildlife!!!!!!!

We have our satellite dish (yes, we still use it for FreeSat!) on the wall above our kitchen door. Pigeons using it as a perch and sh*tting onto the area below had never previously been a problem in the more than 10 years we've lived in our house, but this year, a family of "town" pigeons have decided to use it as a perch. Cue lots of pigeon droppings right outside the back door. I decided to get these spikes as they can be "moulded" around curves, and the three joined strips can be separated into single strips, which is what I needed. They have holes in case you want to fix them to a flat surface like a fence using screws, but that wasn't going to work for me, so I used cable ties and wire to tie them to the top of the dish using the little holes in the dish itself as the anchor points. The spikes have been completely effective at preventing the pigeons from perching on the dish, and a poo-free floor has been restored. They're quite pricey at £9.99 for 1.2m, so if you wanted to cover a long run, it would be expensive, but for the short lengths I needed to cover the potential perching points on the satellite dish, 1.2m was ample with a few strips to spare.
