I actually got this for my husband who wants to grow some specialty tomatoes. I've used several of these kinds of starter kits in the past but this is the best one. I particularly like the cover for it, as seedlings need a humid environment and moisture, but not too much.If you're ordering by mail on Amazon, the price of this kit is comparable to in-store kits - IF you can find them.

Ordered these for our botany study. I love that these can be planted into the ground unlike the plastic type. This gives us a chance to start our zinnias inside this spring to get a jump start. The trays have expected quality.
