Hanes

My best bra for many years was made by Vanity Fair. No longer available, I tried Bali, Jockey, Spanx, Honey Love, Lululemon, a bunch of generic brands, and a couple of Hanes bras to try to find comfort and support like my old favorite. What am I looking for? Support with that next to nothing feel. No digging, binding, bunching or uniboob . No pulling the sides down because it rises up in back. No adjusting the bra in private because my ladies pop out the top. This Particular Hanes bra is genius. I’m a 42 DDD and perfectly fit the xxlarge. Many brands don’t even go above extra large. If you are built like me, want support, and do not want padded cups, underwires, bunching material under your armpits, straps that cut into your shoulders, or cross-crosses in a way that would challenge Houdini, a bra that rides up in the back or one that your breasts fall out of in the front (unless you tighten the band so tight that you cut off your circulation) this is the bra to buy. I hope to God that Hanes does not discontinue it. The front snap closure enables me to easily cross-cross the straps in back. The fabric is soft and breathes. The bra gives high enough in the sides so my breasts do not squeeze out into my armpits. The only thing I would change about this bra would be to make the straps more like my old fav- narrow, stretchy fabric, matching the fabric of the bra. My only criticism is that I would make the straps and inch longer to make it easier to cross the straps while wearing it, because the can be adjusted smaller, but it is still extremely comfortable and all bras end up stretching a bit. I will hand wash these and order extras to preserve them, because manufactures so often change their products and discontinue perfectly good models.

A lovely, comfy bra. Why don't they make more bras like this? No seams, no wires. The sizing is small, medium and large. I ordered medium, which is equivalent to 36B.

Agréable à porter, mais il n'offre pas un soutient important. Parfait pour les soirées ou weekends à la maison, mais autrement il faudrait porter un soutien gorge qui soutien...

No es que tenga una talla grande pero todo y con eso no sujeta para nada, es verdad que es como si no llevases nada pero justamente porque no sostiene el busto...

My measurements are: 28" underbust 32" bust. The size tag on the bra says that I should wear a small. (Wish they showed this tag in the ad as I just guessed my size.) Usually I wear a 30" B cup I ordered a small in the nude color but found it a bit tight. I had to wear the band on the last hook and the straps had to be adjusted to be at their very longest length. I was not able to wear the straps crossed in the size small. Otherwise I loved it. It looks great and is comfortable. When I bend over there is no spillage or danger of popping out. My second order was for the grey color in a medium. I found it to be a more comfortable fit. Not so tight but still not quite right. I wear the band on the tightest hook and the straps I find could still be a lot longer as their is little extra length to allow for adjusting. The cup coverage is a lot more which I find too much for me as the fabric wrinkles up a bit. Still it is very comfortable. Between the 2 sizes I find that the small looks better but the medium feels better.
