Correct size. Hold charge.
I used seven of these to refurbish an battery pack for 1990's amateur radio hand held "handy talkie" radio (HT). The cell dimensions match the original ones perfectly. The new cells came fully charged and powered up the HT properly. Be aware that the welded-on tabs are aligned at 180 degrees from each other. I had to fold over some of them because I needed a different angle for my application. I can't speak to battery life yet. Be sure you use a correct NiCad charger with these cells.

Worked great for my HAM radio power pack replacement.
Only needed 7 of the batteries, but they were a perfect replacement for the batteries in the old battery pack. With the tabs it made soldering them together very easy. Now my old HAM radio is working great.

good value for the money on these batteries
batteries worked well at least the on that i tried. am using them individually for solar lights, the difference between these and other batteries is the straps on both the positive and negative poles, you have to remove the tabs to make them work by bending the metal over for contact. others have stated the same issue, but they are doable for the price and as long as they last a while, they will be worth it.

rare batteries
These batteries were to replace existing in solar lights that did not work. I had never heard of 2/3 AA batteries! The lights did not work after changing the batteries. Not sure if the lights has another cause for that. So I have nothing else that uses this size battery. Anyone out there need some?

BATTERIES ARE NOT RECHARGEABLE
These batteries were advertised as rechargeable, but they are not rechargeable. I just noticed after having to replace the battery in my lawn light that light stays on all day. I would not buy these batteries again.

These are not worth the money
These batteries don't have the normal positive terminal we expect on batteries, and I didn't know what to do with them. I later learned that the black tabs at either end have to be folded back to expose the terminals and connect the battery to the circuit. So, good enough, but quality control is still missing. 10 of the 12 batteries seem to be okay. The other 2 won't take a charge. If you buy these, expect a few duds. A FOLLOW ON TO THIS REVIEW, A WEEK LATER Battery life is about 4 hours, if you're lucky, in sunny Nevada. If you want more time than that, don't buy these.

Great Deal
Bought 12 of these for under $10 to replace 2/3 AA rechargeables in some cheap garden led lights. These work better than the originals, and the lights stay on sun down to sun up. The terminals have tabs for wiring into battery packs and the positive terminal needs bent over and plastic cover stripped off to work in a regular 2/3 AA battery holder. No tools are needed to do this, so that's a non issue. Highly recommend these puppies.

Only 2 out of 12 worked. I do not recommend these batteries.
