Another great buy! I haven't taken my CPEN yet but I love using this book to read and review topics so that things stay fresh in my head. It's amazing how much you can forget if you don't do certain things on a daily basis. It's a must have!

Excellent Review of All Pertinent Aspects of Pediatric Nursing for the Emergency Department. Lots of perfect little hints and stories to help you remember key concepts for the exam as well as for real life.

I took and passed my CPEN only an hour ago and can say with 100% certainty that this book is the reason I passed. The questions were remarkably similar to those on the test (I went through them all), and by going through your book I got invaluable information to help answer the question and improve my nursing practice. Best of all, it was FUN!! Like chatting with an experienced nurse who still enjoys their job--a rare joy :) :)

I recently ordered this book (from Amazon) along with the DVD presentation of Scott DeBoer's CPEN review course (from the Peds-R-Us website). I recommend both products. The questions in the book are great practice and the DVDs were interesting and informative.

Still using it

This was the best study guide that I used to study for my CPEN test! This study guide was easy to read and the content was easy to remember because of how it was presented. The tests give rationales for the correct answers, and I learned a lot!

If you are looking for a study guide for the CPEN exam this is the book for you. This is the only study guide that I used for this exam. I recently passed the CPEN exam thanks to Scott's expertise on the emergency care of pediatrics. It is well-written and easy to understand. The questions are similar to the CPEN exam and the rationale to the answers were extremely helpful. BEST STUDY GUIDE EVER.
