Love these!
The media could not be loaded. I initially ordered one of these ‘workbooks’ for myself as an alternative to adult coloring but found that my (dyslexic) 9 year old and also creative 7 year old kept stealing my pages! So I ordered all 6 of them, mostly because I could tell they were all different but the reviews and photos weren’t clear on which books had which pages. The one with the fire on the front is my favorite come to find out, but we do like them all. My daughters favorite chosen one is the tree stump one. I haven’t noticed all the benefits they claim to have, other than being totally addicted and not wanting to stop when you start! In all honesty though, I haven’t used them as much as I wish I could. There’s just not enough time in life for all the things, so these books come out on occasion.I will say though, I do notice an improvement in my homeschooled, dyslexic 9yo if I have her do a page of the brain games as a warm up to doing her schoolwork. She seems to enjoy it (as a creative) and it does help her focus. She loves the coloring pages, but it tired her hand so that I let her do after her schooling. My 7yo son loved the easier logic puzzles. I got him the dinosaur pocket book for beginners and he always does the brain puzzle first.A note: I got our black ink pens at family dollar and find they work perfect. We also own lots of adult style art markers, pens and colored pencils that we use for the coloring. As far as I can tell, there’s nothing else out there that’s like these brain style doodling and coloring books! Thank you to the Brown family for creating these, and for a better price point than most of their other fun-schooling products.

My little found this relaxing, so I purchased 2!
This was a fantastic way for me to relax. I bought new markers after making thus purchase because I enjoyed the relaxing therapy I received from the art. I actually had to purchase 2 because my grandson started using mine. If you're wondering h received new coloring pens too. I highly recommend this Art Journal. Great Art Therapy!

Love these books!
I bought the PDF for my family, and bought several of the printed books to be able to give to friends. My kids and I do the various Brain Games, Dyslexia Games, and similar things while listening the the Bible after lunch.

Great for getting out of that funk
I signed up for the original research study group for this book. I was desperate to try anything besides medication to pull myself out of the funk I was in. After a week of doing 2 pages a day I actually wanted to organize my dresser. I usually grumble and complian in my head while I clean. There wasn't any of that this time. Since doing 2 pages a day, except Sundays, I have been able to manage our home of 5 kids, 3 dogs, a cat, and a rabbit a lot better. This series really is a game changer for those who are suffering through brain fog.

Good for a brain break
I participated in the author’s study for mom’s with brain fog, then decided to purchase this book for my daughter. My brain fog didn’t completely go away, but I found my stress levels went down and I enjoyed taking a brain break and a little me time. I bought the book for my daughter, because she is in high school and often stressed, and she also is slightly dyslexic and I thought this might help her. She was very excited to get the book. The cover has a nice feel to it and is very pretty.

Fantastic aid for moms and kids alike!
My son used Sarah's Dyslexia Games several years ago, and they were so helpful on his reading journey. I've been reading on her Facebook page about moms benefiting from completing some of her workbooks, and I've been doing some of the Dyslexia pages. When this one came on sale, I knew I had to get it! It's simple, yet beautifully done. I find it so relaxing and grounding as I'm doing the pages. I highly recommend this to mom's and the Dyslexia Games for all students, not just those with dyslexia!

Restoring my sanity
Working on these pages is one of the main ways I’m staying sane. The creative time unlocks the part of my brain that freezes in stress, and I’m able to regulate myself better. I notice myself taking deep breaths in the middle of chaos and helping my kids develop emotional language instead of shutting them down in order to restore order quicker.I’m really thankful for this book and can’t wait to start on on the next one!

So Calming!
I’ve been solving these little brain games and I was surprised at how calm they made me feel when I was filling in the pictures. In each image, the goal is to repeat the patterns shown or draw in your own doodles. My daughter always wants to jump in and complete the puzzles with me. I feel like it taps into a part of me I haven’t felt since I was a little kid! So much happiness drawing these little images.

Not as expected
This was a colouring book at best. Was really inspired to buy these books because of the artwork on the outside as well as their lovely family story with Dyslexia but the pages are of minimal effort and no brain games, more so "draw the cover of a book" and a few fill in the blanks.
