Fabulous shoes
This is my fourth pair of Hoka shoes, 2 Bondi 3's, 1 Clifton, and now 1 Bondi 4. I am an ex-runner due to an arthritis problem in my foot which threatened to end my gym days totally. Since wearing Hoka shoes, I am able to go to the gym regularly and maintain a good level of fitness (but sadly no more running). My problem is in the "bunion joint" of my big toe and these shoes protect it with a relatively stiff sole while allowing good motion due to the rocker profile. The Bondi 4 is by far my favorite of all of the Hokas that I own. I do find it necessary to rotate between these shoes and another shoe that my foot likes which is the Asics Gel Kayano. I can't wear either shoe all the time, but if I rotate between them every day, I do well. I have read other reviews that say the toe box on the Bondi 4 was too small, but I find it comparable to my Bondi 3's. They do come with a removeable extra insert to add cushioning and/or reduce toebox size. For larger feet (they call them higher volume feet), this can be removed. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone with foot/pronation issues. They have saved my life.

Great shoe but too narrow for me
They seemed like great, cushiony shoes perfect for running but they were cut too narrow for me. I wear a 6-1/2 and ordered that size. Length wise it was a perfect fit. Extra room at top of toe. But the width was too tight on both feet. Hated to do it but I had to return them. I they came in wide width I'd probably order them again.

It's been said before, but running in Hokas is like running on clouds!
I'm actually writing this review based on another pair of Hoka One One's I purchased directly from Hoka. The fact that I've shelled out $150 for a second pair speaks for itself. These are fantastic maximalist shoes for the dedicated runner. I've been running almost daily since 1976 and, with age, have developed some foot problems including a neuroma and occasional metatarsal stress fractures. These shoes make me feel as if I have no problems at all. They come with three insoles--you can use one, two, or make a sandwich of all three. I've also tried the Hoka One One Women's Conquest 2. While comfortable, that model doesn't have a rocker sole comparable to the Bondi 4's. The Hoka One One motto is "Keep Running"--kind of a double entendre because the shoes are comfortable for long distances and also enable you to continue running through your lifespan. I used to wear New Balance but have become a Hoka One One convert. I can't praise these shoes too highly!

Bondi 4 Rocks!
I love my Hoka one one Bondi 4, mulberry purple/ neon pink shoes. Not only do they look good but they feel great on my feet. I normally wear a size 8 women's shoe. These fit me perfectly. I have plenty of room in the toe box. I love to hike and these shoes along with compression socks allow me to stay active even though I have plantar fasciitis. This is my second pair of Hoka shoes. The first pair I tried were the Conquests. I like them but they run a little larger than the Bondi and the tongue of the shoe is thin not padded. They are good in cold weather when I need two pairs of socks.I would definitely buy this shoe again. I like the cushy feel and the rocker sole motion. They come with a extra set of insoles. They are really expensive but I feel they are worth it to be able to remain active and keep on hiking.

Does not work for me
This shoe was recommended to me by a friend. The bottom part of the shoe works fine, but the top of the shoe presses on my toes where they meet the foot, leaving a blister after wearing it two times. It might be from where the lace portion of the shoe is attached, or from the shoe bending or flexing some way, but I have never had a shoe press in that area on top before. I might be able to use them if I tape up that area, but that is not what I expected from this shoe. I did walk faster with this shoe, but I will have to come up with a fix to continue to wear it.

best shoes ever!!!
i have always had a really hard time finding shoes that fit correctly and these shoes are amazing!!! they fit so perfectly and are soo nice on your feet, i am not a runner but i have been able to run with these with no issues. My knees usually get hurt if i walk to much, but with these shoes that doesn't happen, i am soo happy i found these shoes! I was paying so much more money for other shoe brands that would do nothing for my feet, these hoka shoes are real life savers! I got my husband a pair and he cannot believe how amazing these shoes are as well! We will continue to purchase these shoes!!!! thank you!!!

Cushy shoe
Was needing a comfortable shoe for my aching feet so that I could survive Disney World for 4 days! These are light weight and very cushy. The Bondi is a narrow shoe compared to others. My only complaints are the color selections and the heel box is shallow so my heel slips. So I have to tie them extra tight to keep my heel from rubbing up and down.

TOOO SMMMAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!
Disappointed in how small these run. Could barely get my foot in even with ALL the inserts out, let alone wear any kind of sock. Wanted to get them broken in before the trip of a lifetime, but they won't be going with me! I wear a normal 8-1/2, and that is what I ordered. Narrow.
