4" Self Adhesive Bed and Furniture Risers,Steel Bed Riser to Heavy Furniture or Beds Self-Adhesive Chair Table Risers,Square White

These are metal and I believe are made out of sheet steel ( they are hollow) and painted and have adhesive ends. That was exactly what I needed to shim out a baby gate to fit my hallway which it does fine. I could see these taking a huge amount of compressional force whereas I only put a few dozen pounds of force on them so no fear of failure. Nice construction, no sharp edges or visible seams. Kudos guys these don’t have to be this nice but they are. I’m not getting paid to say that BTW but I’m an engineer so I appreciate these kinds of details.

I love these. I added them to an IKEA desk so that my art chair would fit under better & it worked like a charm. These were sturdy & well made. Great for the price.

I'd recently bought a Kartell Componibili Storage Unit, which for non-designy folks, is really just a cute piece of plastic but has become iconic, and which I'd coveted for a long time. It was also on sale, which almost never happens! I knew the dimensions when I got it - it's short for a nightstand, which is what I wanted it for, but I figured that I could shorten the legs of the other nightstand so they'd be more similar in height. That didn't really work out, so I focused on * elevating* my Componibili instead. First I looked at bun feet but I realized I needed something self-adhesive that could be removed at any time (I attached the 4 risers not onto the piece itself, but one of those cake boards that somehow fit perfectly onto the bottom of the piece!). So the piece itself is not compromised.Putting them on was a piece of cake and I was happy with the result. Then. . . I started thinking that I should've spaced out the 4 risers more widely; they were sort of concentrated in the middle, making the piece a teeny wobbly. But I read a review that remarked that once these things are on, they're on, and I figured I probably couldn't pry them off. Well, I could, and I did! I repositioned them in a better arrangement. Did they lose some of their adhesiveness? I think so. But there was enough to do the job - and the risers have the weight of the piece always bearing down. I love how they look, sort of blocky, and they go with the piece I bought. So happy all around! I would definitely buy these again. The felt padding is great, and the paint (on the risers) is good and neat.A+

I bought the to place under some storage maid shelves so that the units wouldn't sit directly on the floor. These things really stick and are very sturdy to make ordinary shelving units look like a real piece of furniture. They added a touch of elegance to plain shelfs. I would purchase again.

I used this to raise my entryway cabinet so that I could store shoes underneath it. I think the cabinet weight has caused the layers to separate. I just removed that rop layer & hopefully that will be fine. I'm not sorry I put hard this because it has really been helpful & I still have t seen anything as nice. So still four stars

Was looking to add just a little lift to a table, these blocks were the perfect size, the glue stuck well and the table is fine. The paint seems to be pretty scuff resistant as well.
