Very well put together garments. Comfortable in warmer weather and when the temperature drops a bit. Wash as linen to be safe, so I got a few of these so they can be washed together, separate from other materials, in a lighter load, with detergent designed for linen. The hood is nice and big and can provide some extra warmth when evening comes. There is plenty of room inside the garment, so it doesn't feel restrictive in any way.

This thobe was purchased to act as the basis for an adult's wizard costume, and has not disappointed!Firstly, the material is a lovely soft cotton-linen blend, which means it both looks and feels authentically medieval. It is breathable, so will keep you cool in warmer weather, but is thick enough to not be see-through.Secondly, it is long enough in size 3XL to cover a 190cm (6ft 2in) adult down to ankle length, which is perfect for the wizard costume! Using a separate belt and slight hitching up at the waist, it still falls just below shin-height. Being a lovely flowing material, it doesn't impede movement and feels comfortable to walk about in.Finally, the hood is a good depth that it will comfortably cover your entire head and hang down to about eyebrow level. For those that want to add that bit of a mysterious look, having the hood up will definitely achieve this effect! Otherwise, it will hang nicely over your back and add to the wizard look.

Bought this for my partner who has many health issues and has had to give up wearing trousers. He now has several garments in this style and finds this one good looking and comfortable. It is long enough to cover his legs to ankles. I wash it very gently and cool tumble dry to avoid ironing.

When I received the kaftan I loved wearing it, but have found once washed on a short cool wash and dried outside on a washing line, the item has shrunk quite drastically and is not so comfortable.

Item become very bad. I got one last year and thisbyear material cheap thin, pocket not deep anymore, literally see theough material, not black like it used to be, now some kind washed out black grey.
