X [Blu-ray]

Excellent

In 1979 a group of filmmakers go to a farm in the middle of Texas to make an adult movie but when the elderly couple that runs the farm catches them in the act it turns into a fight for their lives. Slow burn with the first hour feeling like a drama about the adult film industry before becoming a full on bloodthirsty horror thriller in the second half think Boogie Nights turning into The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with very good performances from Mia Goth in 2 roles and Jenna Ortega in a slow but tense horror.

6 on the dice

With Ti West/Mia Goth you know what you're getting. Horror movie fans cant go wrong with the whole trilogy X/Pearl and Maxxxine. Mia Goth was made for horror like she was born for it and having Jenna Ortega in X is the icing on the cake,

Very difficult to research this film using voice recognition. "Show me X" took me to the site formally known as Twitter. Then, I when I tried to search again I had to scroll through half a dozen free range eggs before I finally landed on this film. A taut thriller with lashings of jump scares. Recommended.

Not as strong of an entry as the other 2 movies but a good start. Mia Goth is excellent as always!

one should be well aware of the 1974's Tobe Hooper before watching this X pleasure is bigger, this way, you get the connections everything good and juicy in all departments that make a movie great I am a fan of slasher movies: this one is priceless entertainment nice use of Blue Oyster Cult's track to resume: so sweet to enjoy, well crafted, thank you, y'all

Ok, if you want naked girls and, (to a lesser extent,) guys, and you want blood splatters and loud bangs to tell you when to when to jump then this is fine. The acting is fine, especially Mia Goth who is great as usual (why, oh! why, is she in this?!); but the story is non-existent. The atmosphere of bible belt, sexually repressed America has been done so many times before and much better. It plods for the first half, and then there is sex and people die in unoriginal but graphic ways. If you want a traditional sex and blood late night movie then it will do the job, just don't expect anything remotely original or interesting.

Ya la vi en el cine..Me volvió a encantar ahora en blu ray..Imagen y Sonido Fenomenales..Si os gustó la película, la edición os gustará y si no la habéis visto, os la recomiendo mucho

Manca di lingua italiana. Solo inglese

X is a good watch if you are a fan of horror. It really takes off around the half way point. Was only released on DVD in Australia so this UK (region B) bluray was the way to go.

Parceque je sui fane des film d'horreur

Genial película dirigida por Ti West
