The Black Veda is in the first of these two without a second.The earliest, most ancient layer of Yajurveda samhita includes about 1,875 verses, are distinct yet borrow and build on the foundation of verses in the Rigveda. The middle layer includes the Satapatha Brahmana, one of the largest Brahmana texts in the Vedic collection. The youngest layer of Yajurveda text includes the largest collection of primary Upanishads, influential upon various schools of Hindu philosophy, include the Isha Upanishad, the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, the Katha Upanishad, the Taittiriya Upanishad, the Shvetashvatara Upanishad and the Maitri Upanishad.

The best translation ever , very readable and author gives light of life to the western reader of this sacred scripture.
