NOW Foods Supplements, Horse Chestnut 300 mg with Added Rutin, Circulatory Support*, 90 Veg Capsules

I have complicated digestive issues that linger due to surgery and celiac disease and suffer tremendous abdominal bloating as a result of digestive abnormalities. I've been looking for a product that can reduce this chemically or mechanically besides simethicone and other remedies. A few products combine this with other herbs that suggest they can reduce the bloating but certainly reduce the amount of money in your pocket. Taken alone, I have found this to be a good occasional solution to bloating that cannot be relieved through more traditional means as it seems to keep your digestion from producing as much hydrogen that must be expelled. It does, however, not affect the methane produced from what I can tell. 50% effectiveness is better than none in my book. I'm not a medical professional and I'm only going on what I've seen in my own use case, but if you don't have drug interactions with horse chestnut, it might be worth a try. I've been taking one only when the bloating is at it's worst in the evenings when a heating pad is insufficient.

I’ve only taken it once so far but I’m pretty sure it caused me to be queasy for about 4-5 hours, which got better after having some ginger and a small meal. I think I had eaten not long before taking it but maybe not the right kind of food to buffer it well (can of organic chili). I wasn’t close to vomiting but it was enough to be distracting and unpleasant. Since another reviewer who experienced nausea didn’t with another product at 1/3 the dose, and because the suggested use is one per day, I think I will try 1/2 capsule with breakfast and another 1/2 with lunch on the weekend and see how that works out before calling it quits since I’ve recently been noticing my stage 2 venous insufficiency (had veins ablated and stripped 2 years ago) getting worse with my feet turning purplish after not very long standing or sitting in one place, and people seem to have excellent results from this. Admittedly, I hadn’t been good about wearing my compression stockings while I worked at my desk since the procedure. They’re back in action now though and I plan to integrate some calf exercises and more exercise in general into my workday too.

It also helped with my edema. I could not be happier with this product. I always seek out my doctor when I make these changes to herbs instead of medication. I understand the cream helps aging skin and cellulite I am looking forward to using this product
