Ashaway Ultranick 17 squash string (1 set)

This string is awesome. I have tried others (TF305 and 305+, Supernick, Powernick, etc.), but this one hits the spot. It gives the soft feel of a Supernick and a power of Powernick (almost). The ball stays on the strings and can be directed through the stroke, with plenty of spin, if desired. I prefer a hold followed by a very short swing, and in that regard this string is great. It produces an enlarged sweet hit area and is easy on the elbow due to the soft feel and hence reduced vibration. I play with Head Cyano XT 135, and string the mains at 27, and crosses at 24.[If you are a big swing player with no elbow or wrist issues, I would go with Powernick or TF305.]

I just paired them with a Dunlop Biomimetic Evolution 130 and the racket became really responsive and won a lot of spin for my shots.Totally recommended.

Excellent control~!However, it has a awful gas smell that takes at least 5 weeks to diminish. My suggestion is open the package and leave it there for a month before string it on the racquet.
