UPS ERA PLUS DC 5VDC/9VDC/12VDC

Bought this for my fiber modem and router. My only problem is that the double output lead is very short, so I had to buy an extension cable to plug both devices in. (I bought a CASPERi 5M CCTV 2.1 x 5.5mm cable for this.) We've just endured a few days with intermittent power after an underground cable shorted on our street, so this was the perfect time for a test. When the power went out, the UPS took over without any loss of supply to the devices. 3hrs later when the power came back on, the UPS was still showing 3/4 battery capacity. It's small footprint and ease of use make this a great UPS.

Purchased the ERA UPS Plus DC for just under £20. Initial thoughts are the plug provided isn't for the UK market but a shaver adapter 2 pin to 3 pin that I had spare came in very useful. I guess for the price you can't really expect one to be provided so if you do opt for this you'll need to purchase one or alternatively a 3 pin plug & cable with 2 pin (figure of 8) type connection. First impressions are good.. Simple to set up, came with multiple barrel plug sizes but didn't need these as the cable supplied from the UPS to the ONT was suitable. Haven't tried a full test to see how long it lasts, however unplugging from the mains power and plugging back in to replicate a power cut provided a useful test. For some reason where I live we have frequent power supply drops so at least it will keep the ONT active, my router is on another much larger UPS so both working together will keep me connected during these short outages.

Works well, provided power for my router and POE Fibre modem for a couple of hours, downside is that the POE Ethernet is only 100Mb, it will not run a Gigabit speed. Get VERY hot when used with the POE output

I love this unit but it comes with a European plug and shouldn’t

Simply plug and play, you can turn the power off and it just keeps working. Just need to see how long it lasts.

This item did not come with a UK plug, or adapter. I am sure that is not legal in the UK. Tried to contact Amazon about it, did not get a satisfactory answer, so basically unusable.

Seems to work on. Beware, doesn't come with a 3 point plug so you will have to get an adapter. Also the output plugs aren't clear on which is positive centre one and which is the negative. Handy if you have a paper clip and multimeter to work it out.

Presi per alimentare rispettivamente un router ed una videocamera di sorveglianza, montati in un attimo e subito operativi, la marca mi era già nota per la qualità dei prodotti quindi sono andato a colpo sicuro. Compatti si adatano ad essere allocati un pò dappertutto, uno per esempio l'ho montato su una trave del tetto vicino alla telecamera, unico neo se cosi si può dire, la mancanza di un supporto per fissare a parete o su altro l'ups, ma per il resto tutto ok.

Para mí este pequeño UPS se ha convertido en uno de esos dispositivos imprescindibles del día a día, especialmente si teletrabajas o dependes de tener conexión estable a Internet. Lo utilizo para alimentar la ONT Nokia y el router ZTE de Digi, y gracias a él evito cortes de conexión cuando hay microcortes eléctricos o apagones. Aunque parezca un accesorio menor, cuando lo necesitas de verdad es cuando entiendes lo útil que es. De hecho, me ha servido en situaciones bastante importantes como durante la DANA de Valencia y también en el apagón general, donde poder mantener Internet funcionando durante un tiempo marcó bastante la diferencia. El aparato es pequeño, silencioso y muy fácil de instalar. Básicamente lo conectas entre la corriente y los dispositivos de red y te olvidas de él. Además, consume poco espacio y pasa bastante desapercibido. No sustituye a un SAI grande para ordenadores, pero para mantener ONT, router o pequeños dispositivos de red funcionando es una solución muy práctica y relativamente económica. Muy recomendable para teletrabajo, domótica o simplemente para no quedarte incomunicado en cortes de luz inesperados. ✅ Pros * Mantiene ONT y router funcionando durante cortes eléctricos. * Muy útil para teletrabajo y domótica. * Tamaño compacto y funcionamiento silencioso. * Instalación muy sencilla. * Evita reinicios y microcortes de red. * Muy práctico en apagones o incidencias eléctricas. * Consumo reducido y funcionamiento automático. ❌ Contras * No sirve para alimentar dispositivos de alto consumo. * La autonomía depende mucho de los equipos conectados. * Puede resultar caro para quien no haya sufrido cortes eléctricos. * Indicadores y acabados bastante básicos.
