Walk through it with tray from kitchen and it opens and snaps closed automatically. I no longer have to remind--shout at--my wife to close the screen door. Best of all though is this screen on my workshop door. I used to go in and one way or another 20 plus's mosquitos would come at me. After I installed--easily--this magnet closing screen just one mosquito in a week's ins and outs. One mosquito, of course, is too many but never-the-less a fantastic improvement.(I shall have to be less verbose to reach the 7 comments to hear the joke.)

This screen was the third Brand that I’ve ordered and this one worked out the best for my tall apartment patio door. Ive learned the more magnets the better, perfect for pets who run in and out.

Great for us due to an undersize custom door, but was hard to install possibly due to the size. Love being able to have our door open most of the time. White is better than black for visibility.

This seems to be a much better version than the one I bought "as seen on T. V" at the big W.

This magnetic screen door is heavy duty, well constructed, has a built-in set of tie-backs to keep it open if desired and installed easily. I ignored the installation instructions to first apply the Velcro strips to the screen before hanging it using the adhesive on the back of the strips. Instead, I found it much easier to apply the strips first, using their adhesive backing, to the door frame and then hanging the screen by pressing it into place along the Velcro strips. The magnets snap the screen closed very effectively. Very pleased.

We purchased one like this last year and our dogs eventually ripped it off. This one seems pretty good and I really like that it is lightweight. Makes it easier on us and our dogs when going in and out of the backyard. They give you adhesive strips and some smaller push pins but we just used nails on the top of the wood for our sliding screen door and it did the trick. The magnets are strong too, overall good product and hoping it'll make it through the summer with our dogs.
