Best socks ever
The greatest socks you can have their warm cozy and they are a little bit expensive but I still highly recommend him if you have enough money they are good socks for any season hiking sports and they are the most cozy socks ever and if I was looking for expensive socks, go buy these they are the best socks you can have for under 50 bucks and I give this a five stars our five because it feels like I am having sweaters on my sock every time I wear these and they fit perfectly on my feet and I usually wear 12s but these are 12 as well and they fit perfectly

Warm, Breathable, and Dependable Hiking Socks
Warm, Breathable, and Dependable Hiking SocksI’ve worn these Danish Endurance merino wool hiking socks on several long day hikes and a couple of weekend camping trips, and they’ve quickly become my go-to pair. The merino wool blend is soft against the skin and provides a nice balance of warmth without ever feeling stuffy. Even after hours of climbing trails in cooler weather, my feet stayed comfortable and, most importantly, dry. The moisture-wicking is excellent—no clammy socks at the end of the day.The fit is snug in the right way, giving some arch support without being overly tight. I also appreciated that they don’t slip down in the boot; once they’re on, they stay put. Cushioning is moderate, so they protect well against pressure points and blisters but aren’t bulky. They work equally well in hiking boots or sturdier trail shoes. After a few washes, they’ve held their shape with no noticeable shrinkage or wear.Things to keep in mind: if you’re heading out in extremely hot conditions, these may feel a bit warm since they’re optimized more for cool to moderate weather. Also, sizing runs true, but if you’re on the upper edge of the size range, I’d suggest going up to avoid a too-tight fit.Bottom line: These Danish Endurance merino wool hiking socks are a solid investment if you want comfortable, durable, and moisture-managing socks for hiking, camping, or everyday wear in cooler temps.

Great socks!
Durable - warm but not too hot. Not stinky - ready for abuse without shoes, for hiking or work. Great cushioning while not being too thick. Minimal shrinkage. The only socks I wear.

These run very small!
I have these socks, in large, in both dark grey and black—but as much as I like them, they are tight, and have been since brand new. Almost uncomfortably so—and I wear size 9 1/2 shoes for the most part, so "large" socks usually fit just fine.It seems like these light grey socks are the only ones being sold in "extra large" which is a shame. These fit me like I expect a pair of "large" socks to—they are not loose in the least, but very comfortable. As with the other colors, I really like the overall light weight, and limited padding that these offer. They wick well. If the fit were correct I would give them a very solid 5 stars.I'm surprised that I don't see this commented on in other reviews. My advice would be that you should order a size up, if available. They are very nice, lighter weight marino wool content socks.

The right socks at the right price!
I am thoroughly satisfied with these socks and have reordered Danish Endurance hiking socks several times. They are a serviceable mix of merino wool and synthetic fibers (no cotton!) and are super comfortable, even in hot weather. I wear them not only hiking in rough terrain but also even for everyday casual and dress socks. At the cost for multiple pairs (available in many non-goofy colors), they are a great value. The sizes run normal; they are not overly thick, as many hiking socks seem to be these days. I can't speak to long-term durability, but the ones I bought almost a year ago are holding up like they were new.

Nice, but Inconsistent Material & Sizing
I liked the first 3-pack of these socks I bought (light grey, large), so bought more. Did not like the second set! Tried one last time, but third set still "not quite right", so sending them back. Too bad, but if the manufacturing of these socks were consistent I'd give them five stars. The first set were warm and comfortable, a nice intermediate-weight sock to wear for cool days and light hiking (I'd probably want something thicker for below-freezing weather and/or heavy-duty hiking, skiing, motorcycling, etc.). They remained comfortable all day and didn't leave a ring around my calf when I took them off.The second set--supposedly the same style, size, etc.--felt much tighter going over my foot and definitely left a calf-ring at the end of the day. The material also felt coarser. The third set--again same style & size--felt somewhat better than the second, but still a bit tighter and coarser than the first. As the photo shows, there are visible differences between the three sets of socks, indicating whatever factory (or factories?) make them, the materials and construction vary between runs.Note that they all have a red dash on the interior of the elastic cuff. The first dash is the largest and widest, the second the smallest and narrowest, and the third somewhere in between. Is this red dash a "Comfort Indicator"??? I don't know if that was the plan, but that is the reality I've experienced.Looking closely, there are slight differences in the weave (which may, along with differing fabric compositions, account for their different feels). And the three sets have varying cuff widths, with the third being the widest (they're also slightly longer than the other two), making them more comfortable than the second set, but still not equal to the first set, which are the softest and stretchiest.Bottom line: These socks have five-star potential (first set), but I can only give three stars due to their inconsistency.

I would buy them again!
Perfect weight for most of the year I would say, though I haven’t worn them more than a day so I can’t speak to warmth. Fit is ample for my size 9+ feet (woman) and they seem to be very good quality. Shipping was one day. They are very comfortable so far.
