Spent hours fighting with my auxiliary belt with no joy. 5 minutes with this and it was back on. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Saw the other reviews saying fiddly or took lots of effort so was a bit concerned. I bought the metal one (can’t imagine the plastic one is any good). Inserted the install one onto the pulley, looped the belt onto the other pulley and onto the install tool on the first pulley. Pulled it tight so the belt is fully on one pulley but only half on the other one with the tool. Put the car in 3rd gear and handbrake off. Rolled the car slowly forward about 1m and the tool rolled round the pulley and pulled the belt on. Took about 10s. I was careful to put a block of wood in front of the front wheel so it didn’t keep rolling (over me!).

Easy to use and saves damaging the inside of the belt on the pulleys. I recently had a new belt fitted by the local garage, it came off, I suspect they may have damaged it when it was fitted. This is an essential tool if you want a hassle free job without damaging your new fan belt.

Really helpful piece of kit for both fitting and removing awkward belts.Good value and handy to have in the glove compartment.

Totally breeze to install the new belt with this tool, align and inset the tool at the bottom of the crank pulley and a full 360 degree turn of the crank and it was on.Don’t struggle with nonsense cardboard trick prybar , big this tool and it done.

I went for the metal version of this rather than the plastic as I've used before, so much stronger and easier to use

Used to replace anaux belt on a Fiesta. Bit small and a little fiddly, but did the job.

La idea de la herramienta es buena, y funciona, el útil al ser metálico resbala un poco, yo le puse un poco de cinta de carrocero en la zona que entra en contacto con la polea, así no resbala y me ahorro aguantarlo fuertemente con la mano. Yo lo he usado para cambiar la correa del compresor del aire acondicionado, ya que no tiene polea tensora y cuesta de cambiar en un BMW X3 E83 2.0d m47n2

Coppia di attrezzi per l'installazione e rimozione delle cinghie di trasmissione. Ho fatto una prova con la cinghia trapezoidale di trasmissione del mio trapano a colonna e hanno funzionato bene, per me sono adatte allo scopo. Vanno particolarmente bene in quelle situazioni dove, per esempio, non c'è un sistema comodo per allentare la cinghia, oppure se c'è, ma è in una posizione non agevole, o ancora per quando si ritiene opportuno non modificare la posizione del tenditore. In questi casi i due dispositivi aiutano la sostituzione della cinghia.Io ho acquistato la versione in alluminio, ma l'annuncio propone anche quella in nylon.Per rimuovere la cinghia farla scivolare sulla superficie con la scritta REMOVE, viceversa per installarla, una volta messa in posizione farla scivolare sulla superficie con la scritta INSTALL.Faccio notare che l'immagine dell'inserzione tende a far apparire i due attrezzi più grandi di quello che sono in realtà: per agevolarne la comprensione ho messo delle foto con le misure all'incirca 39,5 x 42 mm per l'attrezzo di rimozione e circa 40 x 49 mm per l'attrezzo di installazione.
