The 6:20 Man: A Thriller

I have been reading Baldacci books for years. In all of the earlier books there was never any vulgar language - especially the f—- word, but it seems all the recent books have succumbed to using that word. I quit reading Vince Flynn for that very reason. Write the books like you used to and I will continue to be a fan. If not you will join Flynn in my reader list.

It's the little things..."Brad texted me at like three in the morning and told me to be out by the pool before six-forty-five..." "Wait a minute, he wanted you out by the pool in time for my train to come by?" [Either the title should be, "The 7:20 Man," or "Brad" should have called to instruct "Michelle" to be out by the pool by five-forty-five, 35 minutes before the 6:20 train. At six-forty-five, as written, the train would have passed 25 minutes prior to "Michelle" going out to the pool.All in all, it was an engaging mystery that was interesting with twists that I never anticipated. I recommend it as a very good read and mystery. I look forward to the next book with these interesting and complex characters.

Full of twists and turns. You will never know what will happen next or who to suspect. You will love the main man, and the array of supporting characters only a genius writer like Baldacci could imagine.

This is one of David Baldacci's best novels! And, I have several sleepless nights to prove it. ...can't wait to read Devine again in a future novel.

I liked the ‘action’ parts better than the ‘story’ parts but the totality of this well written novel speaks volumes to the literary talents of Baldacci.

…but I expect nothing less from David Baldacci. I’ve read many of his books and am always amazed at the depth of his characters and the twists and turns of his stories. I’d love to see Travis in another book - and perhaps Michelle too?? Highly recommend anything written by Mr. Baldacci.

Still reading it, I know I'll be sad when I'm done, great story. I love all his books, his characters are great. Why can't they make movies on his stories??

Always a good read. David Baldacci rarely fails to keep things interesting. The book moves along quickly. I recommend it.

A lot different to Baldacci's normal writing and sometimes it seemed Lee Child's Reacher was lurking somewhere. However it was a 'not wanting to put down' type of book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another great book by David Baldacci, a great read and a wonderful escape.(much needed over the last six weeks!) I really enjoy his books, they're fast paced enough, well written characters, and a great story line always. Now I'm waiting for his next book!It's worth noting that Mr B runs a charity to help with literacy, can't be bad.

I am a big fan of Baldacci’s books and this is well up to their usual high standard.The storyline is compelling so I couldn’t put the book down.I would highly recommend it to those wanting a strong central story populated by a flawed but attractive central character.I hope that this character returns in further stories.

Not quite sure what all the "woke" comments are about? I've read lots of Baldacci and enjoy most. This single read (i.e. not part of a character series) is actually quite easy to get into and has a plot-line that kept me engaged and surprised too.It did the job for me and worth the price - IMO.
