Doesn't Fit Well, But Does the Job
I purchased this connector because I lost my original cable/charger for my Sansa MP3 player, It arrived quickly through the mail. At first I forgot what device I was going to charge so i plugged it into my iPod and it fit but didn't work (strangely my computer detected something though). Once i realized it I removed the iPod and tried to plug in my Sansa. The two metal tabs on the sansa connector part on the original Sansa charger are flexible, allowing it to slide in easily and remove easily but fit snugly. The two metal tabs on this cable are not flexible at all, it was very difficult to try to push the connector into my MP3 player. I gave up after a few minutes because I didnt want to damage my mp3 player with a cheap cable. I tried one more time at an angle after that and it finally went in.After I finally connected the cable to my Sansa, the cable did what I needed it to do; charge my Sansa. It is still plugged in as i'm a bit scared to remove the cable now, I hope it does not damage it since there is nowhere to push and the metal tabs are not flexible at all. I will definately be updating this if the removal of the cable does not work out well. Also one more problem with this cable, it is not an OEM Sansa cable as the image shows, there is no Sansa label on it, it is a bit misleading. I dont mind that this is non-branded cable, as long as it works, but I don't appreciate the misleading image, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 3, otherwise i'd give it a 3 since it did what it needed to do so far.

Perfect Charging cord
This worked great, just as described. Packaged well and shipped quickly. I had been looking for one of these chargers and was unable to find the one that I needed, it was for an older mp3 player. I used it for my older Sansa Sandisk Fuze. It is a great MP3 player but it can be hard to find the charging cord that goes with it. Amazon of course had one like I thought! They always come to the rescue when I need something haha! It worked perfectly, charged fast, and I couldn't be happier. Perfect price for the perfect charger, just what I was needing to get this old Sansa back working again so I can jam while I clean the house :)

Sansa USB Cord
It's what's pictured. It showed up on time (five minutes after I found the cord I was replacing, isn't that always the way?), it works really well. There are little push-in parts on either side of the part that goes into the Sansa, which you won't be able to see in the pictures shown. Mine was rounder edged than the one shown but it still works really well, and that's pretty much the important thing. If I ever need another replacement one (or a new back-up cord, because that's what it is now), I'd buy it again just for the price. (I mean, really, the shipping and handling cost more than the cord itself!)

Great Replacement!
I bought this cable to replace the one that originally came with my Sansa View (I still can't believe I lost it!). It arrived in a small, well-padded envelope along with the cassette tape adapter I'd also purchased. The cable works just as well as my original one; it charges my View as well as transfers songs over. The connector that goes in my View is a bit more snug, but I wasn't afraid that it would damage my View. I did notice that the transfer rate of songs is a little bit slower, although I'm not sure if that was my Rhapsody or the actual cable. At any rate, it wasn't so slow that I was getting impatient; it still transferred the songs in a reasonable amount of time.A perfectly fine replacement cable and well worth the price.

Depends
You can't really compare apples and apples because Amazon mixes up all the reviews from 3rd party vendor cables into "Sanza Fuze Cable".You may get what's in the picture, or you may get something different - even from the same vendor at 2 different times (mine was SF Planet - a great vendor). The main issue is; Sanza Fuse "wide" USB connectors/adapters have a squeeze-in / detaching set of buttons on the right and left side of the connector.Squeezing the connector retracts the two metal clips that allow it to be inserted into the Fuse without damaging the plastic or connector pushing in or more likely pulling out.Any connector / adapter that doesn't have "push in" buttons on the sides will probably damage your Sanza - not right away, but eventually. I have one of each type and I wouldn't risk pushing in the one without the buttons. It looks like it would get stuck taking it out. Then you've really wasted money.Youse takes your chances with cheap cables. If you expect to keep your Sanza Fuse for 3-5 years, an extra few dollars for an OEM or Sandisk-approved cable might be worth it.On the other hand, USB cables - real mini-USB cables that aren't proprietary like Sanza Fuse's, are often 99% reliable - even from off-brand vendors. I find the AmazonBasics cables are so good and only a few dollars more, so I don't even mess with 3rd party vendor cables anymore. Sanza's smaller MP3 models - like the "Clip", use this standard USB cable.

what i liked the most about this product was there were no extra software downloads needed. all i hand to do was attach it to my mp3 player and sync my music. The least i didn't like about the product is the cable doesn't fit snug like the original cable. it has a tendency of detaching itself sometimes.

Evaluation of USB Cable For Sansa Sandisk-Excellent Rating
Initially I was skeptical that the item would not work, however up receipt of the cable I quickly changed my opinion, the USB cable was just what I had been looking for, just did not know where to get it. I went to Best Buy however no one could help me,they offered a USB cable however it turned out to be for te IPOD. Needless to say that I am very pleased with the cable for my Sandsk Sansa. I would not hesitate to recommend it's purchase or use to anyone who onquired about it. Thenext time I am in need of any similar item you can rest assured that I will contact you first before I waste my time looking else where. Signed Felipe Galaviz
