I really like these glasses. The heavy weighted bottom makes them very hard to tip over and the suspended bubble in the base of each glass is just cool. They are sturdy enough to use every day and haven't etched at all in the dishwasher. I love these glasses so much that I ordered 12 more of the Coolers and the Juice glasses from Amazon. (The originals were purchased at a store).Unfortunately 2 of the 3 orders had broken glasses when they arrived. There is no padding between the product box and the shipping box. And even tho I have found these glasses to be quite sturdy, the packaging was totally inadequate. (Amazon's fault). Still, the glasses look great and I hope to some day get a shipment with an unbroken set!Also, make sure that you are ordering the size you want. The "Tumbler Cooler" glasses are 15 oz, and the "Tumbler Beverage" glasses are 11.5 although they look identical in the photos. I prefer the 15 ounce for a water glass, they work better with the size of juice glass I have. The 11.5 ouncers are a little too petite but are also really pretty. I think that there is a smaller juice glass the would make a nice set if you did go with the 11.5 oz tumbler.

I have used Bormioli Rocco Luna Tumbler beverage glasses for many years. I am expecting new kitchen cabinets that will accommodate more glasses and this smaller size will be perfect for other beverages. These specific glassware wears well and in many years of use, I dropped two and they broke. It’s glass and to be expected with a drop of three or more feet. They are difficult to knock over because the base is nicely waited. They dress up my table and I enjoy looking at them. I recommend these glasses.

The tumblers which survived shipping are exactly what I wanted. I wanted 10 tumblers but could find only a set of 12. With 10 surviving the shipping, I received what I wanted, albeit for the price of 12.The Amazon packing cardboard box was in perfect condition without a dent or mark. It contained a manufacturer’s or shipper’s packing cardboard box.This manufacturer’s or shipper’s packing cardboard box was also in perfect condition without a dent or a mark … without a sign of having been dropped or crushed.Inside the manufacturer’s or shipper’s packing cardboard box were 3 cartons wrapped and well cushioned with bubble wrap, again without a blemish. Two of the cartons contained 4 tumblers each, all exactly what I wanted, attractive tumblers. The third made a rattling sound when I picked it up. Upon opening it, I could see the rattling represented exactly what I expected and feared: some shattered tumblers. Fortunately, I found 2 in perfect condition, surrounded by the glass shards of the other 2.I do like these tumblers and do now have 10 freshly washed, ready-to-use tumblers in my cabinet which previously contained 10 old, mismatched, worn tumblers. Instead of 12 for the price of $45.99 ($3.83 each), I have received 10 for the price of $45.99 meaning a tiny bit less than $4.60 each.I would rather keep the more expensive tumblers than go through the process of returning them … but keep wondering if this was a problem after the packing or whether someone along the shipping line purposely packed a box containing 2 shattered tumblers.

Used these in our office for guests. Good size for water or soft drinks since we use the small cans of drinks in our beverage cooler.

The glass is beautiful and everything I wanted in a glass. However I was only shipped one glass instead of the 12. Amazon wanted me to return my one glass so they can give me the “free”replacement of what I originally ordered🤷🏼‍♀️

I have had several sets of these glasses over the last ten years (accidents happen and they break). I originally purchased them at the big brick and mortar store that's now slowly closing. I've had them for more than 10 years, and was disappointed when I couldn't find them in the retail store anymore, but was delighted to find them on Amazon. They shipped in a bubble wrapped branded box inside of the standard amazon box, so they were well packaged and all in tact upon arrival. I love these glasses because the bottoms are completely flat, so there is no place for water to puddle or collect in the dishwasher. They are also large enough to hold a full soda can (12oz). I have the smaller version for juice glasses as well. they also have a heavy base, so they feel nice in your hand. They are good quality.

After reading some negative reviews about them coming in broken I was reluctant to purchase them. I am really pleased that they all arrived in perfect condition and were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap in a box with separations and then inside a larger box with paper around it. Thank you for handling them so carefully!

As others have noted, chances are good you will receive one or two broken glasses. Or more. This shipment was of three original boxes each of four of the Luna Bormioli highball glass; excellent and stylish as our go-to water glass and increasingly hard to find. The outer packaging is great with bubble wrap around each individual box of four, again around the three boxes which themselves are in an outer cardboard box itself contained another!That said, the rattle of broken glass was immediately apparent- the inner, original Bormioli box is made of thin cardboard and the rudimentary separators do not prevent the glasses from touching one another- it was amazing that only one was broken. And beware the very tiny shards that can result.The glasses themselves are wonderful but this means of receiving them cannot be recommended.(The glasses themselves are sturdy and are fine in the dishwasher, but don’t force them onto holding racks and maintain enough distance between them).
