ApsaraLong Point Sharpeners - Pack of 20

Love these sharpeners. They are better than the more expensive ones I've bought over the years. They create the longest point, and I haven't experienced any lead breakage. And with the generous quantity for the price, I carry them in my purse (I like to journal with my pencils in cafes), backpack, and in my pencil case. I love the Apsara pencils too!

Great that there are a lot of sharpeners in this box. Will last me a long while! Fits most of my coloured pencils though it is a bit tight on my Derwent Lightfast pencils.

Great value

Very inexpensive and well made. Works for any standard width pencil. Gives a fine point to the Mitsubishi Hi Uni, Prismacolor Premier or Faber-Castell color pencils. Does not work on Derwent Drawing Ivory Black or Caran D'Ache Luminance as they are just a smidge too big.

I've used about 10 of the 20. Of those 10, I have had to throw away 4 or 5 after using for just a few colored pencils. The problem is that they do not give a long point, as advertised. The problem exists regardless of the brand of colored pencil . I throw them away rather than have to adjust my technique to having only a short and not sharp point. About half of those I have tried work great and for a reasonable amount of sharpenings. I will not be buying again because of this problem. Even for half the sharpeners, the price is OK, but the hassle makes it not worth the purchase.

Have tried many sharpeners for use with colored pencils.These are a simple design but work very well and yield a fine pointand well shaved wood on pencils. Excellent price for box of 20 sharpeners.Highly recommend.

If you want that really, really sharp pencil lead this is the sharpener for you. I love my Dahl 133 but if I want a super sharp pencil Dahl eats the pencil so I use the Apsara pencil sharpner, it doesn’t eat the pencil as much. But for regular sharpening my Dahl is my go to. Plus you get 20 sharpeners for under $10.

There aren't many pencils that don't like this sharpener, although the ones with super soft lead tend not to take the long point well (6B on down, as well as soft-core color pencils). But for firm pencils down to trusty HBs, this is my go-to. A better inexpensive sharpener cannot be found! Long, fine, needle points.

They don't last too long as they are for the softer wood of Indian pencils, cedar wood tends to dull them quite quickly, but they do have the best longpoint I've ever used.Also excellent value.Also great custoner service from Inpro Stationery

These little plastic numbers are amazing. They produce a long point similar to burr grinders like Exacto but in a little manual form factor. The blades are super sharp and have worked well for all the wood types I've tried so far. My experience with plastic bargain sharpeners has always been poor and I can't yet comment on how many jobs these blades will do before they dull, but for this price and at this quantity I think I'll be OK if I only get a few dozen sharpens each. Note that these ship direct from India so took a while and the package came a little worse for wear, but the contents were fine.
