Avenger C1575B Super Clamp

Very sturdy; works perfectly. It's identical to the Manfrotto "super clamp" I bought six years ago, except the twist knob has been improved. I generally use these clamps to hold a Magic Arm, but have also used to them to mount off-camera speedlights and even to support rods for a DIY background system.

This is sturdy, heavy, and solid build.

I now have two of there Avenger Super Clamps. I use them quite a bit on location shoots to mount my flashes in places a stand will not fit or in small offices. Very solid and quality build. Fast shipping. If you need to hang anything in unusual places this product is for you..

I purchased this over the Manfrotto version simply due to the knob design. The clamp? Spectacular! I've been able to eliminate bringing a lightstand on photo shoots recently. I've simply attached my Firefly 26" Octabox, Canon 580EX II & Pocketwizard to this clamp & have used it on street signs, doors & a fence. It takes up no space in my camera bag & with a weight capacity of over 30lbs, very much worth the money!

Well designed for strength and versatility. Holds well, easily adaptable and adjustable. I don't see any reason this won't last forever.

I purchased these to hang on to a few lights I have but these things are soooo versatile that they have become a must have when I am soon any kind of photography or video work.

I like bouncing off Avenger knobs more than impaling myself on Manfrotto handles.
