Doors to Darkness (Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying)

Fun and Easy-To-Run
I've only had a chance to run, "None More Black," but I had so much fun doing it I actually adapted the story for a D&D 5E game recently and it worked splendidly. "None More Black," is simple with only one handout and lots of room for player creativity (they really had fun with it and gave me a chance to really expand upon the NPCs in the book). The book itself is beautiful; great artwork, easy-to-follow sections, and it even comes with a nice attached tassel bookmark! "Doors To Darkness," is a fantastic place to start if you're a beginning Cthulhu GM. If you're an experienced GM looking for one-shots, in-between chapters side quests, or pallet cleansers from other TTRPGs, this would be a great book to purchase.

Great for New Keepers
I played very early editions of Call of Cthulhu back in the early 80's, and recently got back into it. I bought this since I wanted to learn how to be a Keeper and not a just a player. These adventures are very well written (but need a few tweaks here and there for better playability, which alone is a great lesson for new Keepers) and there are plenty of pre-generated characters and handouts. The scenarios are variable (small spoiler alert) and the first one, The Darkness Beneath the Hill is almost like a mini-dungeon crawl and is a great one to introduce players who might be used to D & D or another dungeon crawl style RPG to the world of Call of Cthulhu. Physically, the book is VERY well constructed. Definitely recommended for New Keepers.

An Excellent Product
I've been playing D&D and Pathfinder for years, but I've always been intimidated by Call of Cthulhu. This is a great resource for GM's new to CoC... all the adventures are great and the book is filled with excellent suggestions for running them.

Great for teaching new keeper's how to play
These 5 scenarios may not be the best scenarios written for this game, but what they excel at is demonstrating important elements of the game to new keepers so they develop necessary skills for running more complex scenarios. Highly recommended for this reason!

It is a great book for starters to the Call of Cthulhu game
It is a great book for starters to the Call of Cthulhu game, however what it lacks is the character creation information that I feel a book like this should have. It is in no way a bad book just lacked something that anyone who would like to play with a non pre-generated character would want in a book that is introducing them to the game and system.

New to CofC solid purchase!!!
Solid book, personally branching out from DnD 5e, and the introduction pages 5-12 are worth it alone if new to the game, bought this along with the starter set and can’t wait to continue into running these scenarios

Great scenarios
Great additional scenarios and supplementary material for CoC RPG. Worth every penny.

Most of these are great - easy to learn and run
Most of these are great - easy to learn and run. They are fairly linear, but don't feel like it when playing. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with a PDF so that hand outs and pregens can be printed.

Perfect!
Great for beginning keepers. It’s structured while having enough wiggle room to practice creativity for eventually more demanding scenarios you know you’ll want to host!

Wish the handouts and pregens were separate from the book

Intrigante
Bastante detallado, hojala hubiera traducción al español latino, pero está muy bien las aventuras son bastante intrigantes

Entertaining read
Love the scenarios. Lots of freedom for keepers as far as 1920’s or modern. Plus a new keeper wouldn’t find these too advanced to manage.
