As a present

I'm a great admirer of Engelbreit's style and have collected numerous books, calendars and prints of her work over the past twenty years. In recent years her output must have slowed, because there are very few new images in recent calendars. This is a shame, because although there is still a fabulous selection of beautiful little pictures and witty quotes, it's an expensive calendar and true Engelbreit fans will be getting very little new material for their money. I returned this; I have multiple copies of its content already.

I love these calendars. Each day brings a new quote and the whimsical art of Mary Engelbreit.

Beautiful artwork, clear media and text. Each page is unique. So many great quotes with detailed pictures. I use it for the art, the year doesn’t matter! I just cut off the date and use it as a card enclosure, bookmark, lunch bag note…365 days of endless entertainment!

I have been buying these calendars for awhile and have yet to be disappointed. They are just the right size for my desk , the daily verses are full of wisdom and cheer and the pictures are stunning. I have framed some of my favourites. Will continue buying for years to come.

I buy this calendar every year. I'm a huge fan of the artwork, and the daily quotations are wonderful: appropriate for everyone, from children on up.Note that some illustrations are repeated from year to year. It would be very hard to qcreate 365 new and detailed illustrations each year. I do spend a little time studying each page to appreciate how detailed and beautiful Ms. Engelbreit's drawings are.Many of the daily pages I save in the calendar's box to reread or gift. The other pages are excellent to use for notes and lists.Yes, you should try this if you're not familiar with this artist. Yes, it would make a thoughtful gift. I used to put this calendar on the bathroom counter so that my mom, with Alzheimer's, at least knew the day of the week. On the bathroom counter, it wasn't competing visually with everything else in the house.

Buy these calendars every year. Great gifts and cute illustrations on every page with a quote for the day.I used to give one to my Mother every Christmas with her gifts. As she got older it helped her to be aware of the day and date. She always loved the illustrations and kept it in her kitchen.
