I’m really happy with this light. It’s very bright and lights up the area really well at night. The motion sensor works great and turns on quickly when someone walks by. Installation was pretty simple, and so far I haven’t had any issues with it. It does exactly what I needed it to do. Definitely a good purchase.

This is the 3rd Lutec light I have purchased the initial two were for the back of our property and had higher Lumens than this last purchase which was placed at our front entrance they are quite bright which I prefer and give good coverage of our property. The first two have been working for over a year now and there has been no issues to this point.

A great L.E.D. security/ Motion light. I had no trouble installing, and the light is MUCH brighter than my older incandescent one was. Motion and Timer functions work flawlessly so far. The only caveat I have was that the light I replaced had a higher-depth mounting base, to contain the electrical wire nuts after mounting. This light sits almost flush, and is made to mount on an electrical box. I made it work by sawing out some more space where my wiring came out thru the wood over my garage door, to make space for the wire nuts. I don't leave the light on all night, though I do find the 'On at dusk' function to be helpful for me. Our light is on a switch, so if we're going out in the afternoon and will return after dark, I just turn the switch on. and the light comes on at dusk... it's a handy feature.

Easy to install and works great. But, a pain to get the motion sensor just right. Up and down is easy, but left to right is way too tight. Have to mess with the plastic nut above it to move. When it is adjusted it never seems to be able to pick up someone where I need it to be. Works great otherwise, and has better water protection from those supposedly ip65 junk that fill your lights with water and cook the LEDs.

I ordered these lights for the front of our shop and really love them. The feature that I like most about this is that one of them I can have set as a motion light and the other one I have set as a dust-to-dawn. They are very bright at night and love them for the quality of light they put out. I was able to install them quickly and easily and I love that they had a variety of color options to choose from and the price for them was inexpensive. I ended up buying a third one just to install off of my house next to my grill so that I could have light there at night whenever I go out to to cook or when my dog needs to go out to the bathroom.

3.5 stars - this is my 2nd light fixture of this brand/model. The first one stopped working because the sensor got filled with water when a painter power washed my house. Prior to this, the light worked fine for the 2+ years I had it. It is a good inexpensive light fixture that is easy to install and works well. I took a close look at the original light fixture when I took it down and can confirm the sensor is the weak spot in the design. It isn't fully sealed so I would consider it water resistant not water proof. Based on my experience, it will stay dry and functional under normal conditions. Mine is installed under an eve so is it somewhat protected from the elements.

A good compact LED security light that is well made & decent looking. The light hoods and base are aluminum, while the rest is plastic. Easy to read and set the well marked (white print) slider adjustment switches. Good bright 5000K lights (2). I use it at maximum sensitivity which seems about right. Various useful settings depending on your requirements. It has worked flawlessly now for several weeks in severe fall & winter weather.

Unfortunately the product doesn’t work and I only put it up after the return period. Had to go to the DIY shop and buy an alternative which works fine! £40 down the drain.

These are solid motion sensor lights that are a great value for the price. There is easy to set up as any hardwired light and have a solid functionality. They do pick up motion very well and provide an effective and amount of light for the size. Highly recommended

You cannot fit this light without buying a separate back -piece on which to fit it. This is not apparent until the light arrives and you discover that it is impossible to fit without it. It is non-standard UK wiring, with black, white and green leads. Gave up in the end and bought a much simpler light to fit that required nothing additional and with standard UK wiring. Best avoid this!

I originally purchased this light in August 2023. The light is durable with a nice stylish look to it. The installation was straight forward and easy. The light is very bright for the Lumens this light is emitting. The performance and function were without issue until October 2024. The motion sensor started to malfunction. I contacted LUTEC warranty, to my surprise they were in correspondence with me in 24 hours. I gave them a detailed explanation & photos of the issue. LUTEC was amazingly quick with their follow up and response to this warranty issue. I received the replacement light in 5 days after contacting LUTEC. Joshua the LUTEC customer service rep who handled this matter, was prompt and handled the matter professionally. The customer service was outstanding. It is great LUTEC has a 3 year warranty and honors the warranty with a pleasurable customer service experience. Thanks to Joshua & LUTEC. Consider LUTEC as your next light to replace your old one.
