foxydry Mini, Ceiling Mounted Pulley Clothes Airer, Clothes Drying Rack, Vertical Folding Laundry Drying Rack in aluminium and steel 59.84x21.2x9.84 in

We purchased this drying rack recently and its now up the ceiling and working really well as expected. The only thing we noticed was, the bar is of aluminium not steel, one or two have warped a bit. So I distribute clothes hanged on hangers evenly. My husband is thinking of inserting steel rods into the bars but so far its working perfectly and my clothes dry very quickly so less tumble drying required. I love it and its the product we have been waiting for. It didn't take long to set up but as my husband is very fussy with screws all he made sure they strong enough to withstand the weight. The draw cord pulley can be a bit tough when you have 10kg weight to raise up so its out of the way even if its located in the utility room! Motorise mechanism is ideal!!! See photos attached

Really sturdy and fairly easy to install by someone who knows how to use basic tools. Have put in utility room and now don’t need a tumble dryer, which is much better for the environment. Washing is up high so not taking up floor space. Because it’s high it dries quicker than floor standing airer. The contraption is well made and is easy to raise and lower. Mechanism is really efficient and well made. This item is not cheap but is good value for money. You get what you pay for. I bought the smaller version and it is big. Make sure you measure your space before buying. I nearly bought the big one, which would’ve been too big. Super product.

Great pulley Bit tricky to fit but all good in the end

I.LOVE.THIS I toyed with getting the more expensive one (its Electric!) but decided to cheap out and get the manual one. Hubby installed it for me - might have taken him an hour? He said it was a bit fiddly, but overall easy enough to do. I do have a dryer (because kids/sports/living in Ireland etc) but can tell you it will only be used in extreme emergencies .. as this FoxyDry clothes air-er is just the bees knees ... hang clothes at night, clothes dry in morning. Jeans (at the waistband might take a bit longer). We have it hanging in utility and it is high in the ceiling so even when walking around back there, the clothes don't even tip the op of my head, and I am 5' 11 '' tall. I think every home should have one .. esp if you live in a damp climate like we do! Totally worth the price too.

Nice to look at. Many rails so can take huge load. Very easy to pull up due to mechanism, even when fully loaded. Very useful if living with no indoor drying space, and saves electricity by not using a clothes dryer. Had to get joiner to fit it securely to beam in roof. The lines sometimes get tangled, but are relatively easy to fix.

Wasn’t manufactured properly and the customer service was slow Amazon were great as usual but the supplier of this item was sadly lacking

One arrived with a piece missing so we can’t put it up. Hate the wastage of returning it when they should really just send us the little part but my only way to contact them is through the customer service portal with Amazon and they aren’t replying to that. 😩 The other one worked, it’s up. It’s good. Holds more than we expected. A bit fiddly to install but we managed it! It does catch and slide of runners if you lift it too high (despite meticulously following instructions), but otherwise is smooth. Not perfect but the best we could find. We screwed a fairly big plank of solid wood into the joists of our utility ceiling and then attached it to that.

Love this hanging dryer rack! My laundry room is small so it allows me to dry clothes and still have space to move around and do other things. Great customer service as well! I ordered the bigger size and had to exchange for the smaller size. Yes it is the same price but probably because of shipping. The smaller size can still hold 10kg of laundry which is a full load. I also love this rack because it doesn't require me to put everything on a hanger!

Die Anbringung an der Betondecke war zwar etwas knifflig und erforderte Präzision, aber die beiliegende Anleitung war sehr gut erklärt und verständlich. Mit dem richtigen Werkzeug und etwas Geduld war die Montage grundsätzlich gut zu bewältigen und schnell abgeschlossen. Ein starker Schlagbohrschrauber und geeignete Dübel, die mitgeliefert werden, sind bei Beton unerlässlich. ​ Das System ist genial einfach und funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Trockner lässt sich mühelos herunterlassen, was das Aufhängen der Wäsche sehr komfortabel macht. Nach der ersten Wäscheladung bin ich absolut überzeugt. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach, und die Wäsche trocknet schnell und gleichmäßig.

Después de algo más de 6 meses usándolo, creo que ya puedo dar una opinión sobre este producto. La verdad es que vale lo que cuesta. Puede parecer un producto caro, pero tanto los materiales como su funcionamiento lo valen. El montaje me resultó sencillísimo. Las instrucciones son claras, la plantilla que incorpora te permite marcar los agujeros en el techo, y a partir de ahí es sumamente fácil, incluso para una sola persona, como fue mi caso. El único problema que tuve fue taladrar el techo, que es de hormigón armado, y tuve que recurrir a una empresa de reformas con herramientas profesionales para que hiciera los 4 agujeros que les había marcado. Con los agujeros ya hechos, en 45 minutos tenía el tendedero montado y funcionando. El tendedero es robusto, aunque no deja de ser un elemento suspendido en dos puntos y unos hilos. El movimiento es firme, no se balancea, pero al colgar la ropa puede moverse. Y ojo, hay que repartir bien el peso, porque si lo cargamos más de un lado que del otro, quedará desnivelado. El máximo peso que soporta son 10kg; da la sensación de aguantar más, pero no tengo datos objetivos sobre el peso de mi colada. La polea para subirlo y bajarlo, con su carrete y su cuerda con "bolitas" impide el retroceso. En estos casos 7 meses nunca ha fallado ni se ha bajado solo. Además, puedes dejarlo fijo en cualquier punto del recorrido; no se moverá. Plegado no ocupa más de 15 cm de alto. El rango de movimiento es suficiente. Yo lo he montado en un techo de 2'60m de altura, y baja más de metro y medio sin que la estructura esté al límite, de sobra para tender por debajo de la cintura. Y poco más que añadir. Me decanté por el modelo de 1'20 de largo y, viéndolo montado, hubiera podido montar el de 1'50. A veces echo en falta esos 30 cm. a mayores. Sólo un pero: la pinza que incluye para sujetar la cuerda recogida es muy chula, pero de muy mala calidad, y se rompió al cabo de pocas semanas de uso. Por lo demás, un 10 en todos los aspectos

Mooi en praktisch. Enige reden voor een sterretje minder dan vijf is dat er kabeltje soms van zijn wieltje loopt, na het volledig optrekken.
