Keeps the deer and rabbits away!
This stuff actually works! I have tons of hosta in my yard (a delicacy for deer and rabbits) and this is the only thing that consistently keeps them from eating our garden.I just spray after every rain and I've had no problems. I will warn you it smells HORRIBLE and make sure you aren't spraying when it's windy because you don't want it on you lol.

Finally, a deer repellent that works!
My wife is a master gardener, and our property is plagued with tick-carrying deer that love to eat her gardens. We have tried many products and home remedies over the years, and this is the best, by far. Yes, it is costly, but it is worth every penny. Prior to using this, for years I applied a well-known product made from dried, powdered pig blood. It was marginally effective, didn't last, and was very difficult to mix. It would also clog my sprayer frequently with blood clots. It would smell awful when mixing and after application. It would also leave dark brown [blood] spots on the plants.Speaking of smelling awful, this product also smells awful, but the odor dissipates within a day or so. It appears to last somewhere between a couple of weeks and a month, so you do need to re-apply it regularly. It comes as a concentrate that is about the consistency of heavy cream. 12.8 oz or so mix into a total of 1 gallon water. It mixes very easily, makes a small amount of foam, and has no clots or clogging issues. If you mix it indoors, the smell is pretty nasty, but doesn't last very long. I have to say that the nasty smell is more visceral than olfactory - it's almost like it makes me feel ill to smell it, even though the smell itself is not overpowering. Very subjective, your mileage may vary. One gallon of concentrate will make about 10 gallons of ready to use.I'v posted pics of the gardens we are protecting. So here's the bottom line - this stuff is easy to mix and use, works well, and lasts. The best repellent I have found, in many years of trying, to keep the deer from eating our plantings. I recommend buying a small amount of concentrate, and see how it works for you.

Good stuff. Do not pour or spill inside your home.
I purchased the liquid since the powder needed a repeat treatment after a rain, thinking the liquid might persist. The granular was great, and the odors of both products are similarly abhorrent. The pump failed from the outset. I never contacted customer service - but am now using a Zepp sprayer.

Great product!
Use this to keep deer from eating shrubs. It works great. Spray about every two weeks or so and after heavy rain. Odor goes away in about an hour but it’s strong when applying it. Only had one plant ( a hydrangea) that looked a little wilted after but it recovered. We are in a drought so that might have affected it as well.

Smells horrible but keeps deer off
I live in a suburbs overrun with deer. I really can’t plant anything and I’m searching and trying to remember not to buy anymore plants or trees unless someone has experience with them and deer do not eat them. Otherwise it’s a waste of money, they eat everything. I have some young evergreen trees and they even eat the bark off them! So in an effort to preserve the trees and other shrubbery I already have I always spray them with this. It does work. I usually buy the big bottle, but when I’m in a rush I like the small spray bottle. It’s convenient and helps prevent going too long without spraying and running the chance of the deer coming in and taking down all the lovely trees and plants I’ve tended carefully. That’s the thing - you really have to stay on top of spraying. If it rains, you have to spray again. You have to spray sometimes every couple weeks. It smells just horrible but it does keep the deer away.

Good and Bad
Overall this product works fairly well. I have used it for 10 years to repel deer and rabbits from my hostas and impatiens. And there is practically no effective products of this type available, so there is that. However the concentrate does not mix well and many times it has clogged my pump sprayer (cleaning the sprayer with that awful smell is not a pleasant task). Further, last year when we had a draught it did not work at all since the animals ignored the taste in order to get the needed moisture that the plants provided. Lastly, it is overpriced for what it is.

Works to repel deer but sprayer breaks after a couple of pulls
Update: it's been several weeks since I first applied this repellent to my yard. At first the deer didn't seem to care. But since then, I haven't seen any deer. Still only 4 stars though due to the defective sprayer.Didn't work. I applied it all over my yard on Saturday. I saw deer back on my lawn today (Monday). It didn't rain between then and now. In addition, the spray feature doesn't work. I was able to spray it a few times before it stopped working altogether. I had to remove the spray attachment and just pour the liquid directly from the bottle.
