This fragrance is light and feminine, combining a fresh, mildly powdery, perhaps very light floral with a dash of a spicy scent to it. I am not describing it as in Oriental spicy, rather just a bit spicy. This is a good fragrance for the summer. When you first spray great but load and then the magic happens, it because nicely subtle but last enough that you will be able to smell your self and remember you put it on a couple of hours ago. This is actually a very very nice-smelling eau de toilette - it's fresh and light, with citrus on the nose and dark, woody floral on the finish. It's a masculine scent for sure, while not being overwhelmingly "manly" (which I also call "burly," "sweaty,' and "funky," interchangeably). The impression is one of being on the beach on a light and breezy summer afternoon - ooohhh; kinda sexy, right?I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review; so as much as I really like the scents (and the sexy), I had to give 4 stars because there's a bit too much eau in this toilette ... You start out smelling divine and, voila! a few minutes later you're back to your old burly self. Which can be great if you're going to work in a cow factory, but not so great for your semi (be honest here!)-annual Date Night.THAT BEING SAID: everybody's skin is different, and pH levels have everything to do with how the skin holds fragrance. *Your* dermis could welcome these perfumed molecules gladly, while *mine* is busy playing "Marco Polo." For my first Nuvo Parfums choice, I picked the Lady Love for myself. I was not disappointed, it is from heaven! I love the line of "Bass Notes" for this particular blend: Oakmoss, Vanilla, Sandalwood, and White Musk. The top and middle notes are sweet and floral. I like the bit of spicy notes, they keep it from being too sweet and give it a little flavor. I am quite pleased with this purchase, as is my husband.In case you are questioning the four stars, I had to take one for duration of fragrance. Unfortunately, the wonderful smell just does not last very long. Can that be fixed? I mean, if this perfume line just had more last, it would be perfect. I was grateful to have picked up my bottle of Lady Love at a discount in exchange for writing this honest and unbiased opinion.

Buying a brand or scent of Cologne on​line for the first time without having smelled it is always a risk. This cologne is by no means bad but it's just not for me. I like sweeter scents and this is quite opposite. It reminds me of something my dad would wear. Like I said, it's not bad, it's just not for me. It's very strong as well; one spray is good for most of the day. The bottle is kinda cheap and has a cheap plastic lid but that doesn't matter when it comes down to the smell. Fragrances are different on everyone. This scent is "almost" along the scent note ( are the ingredients used to make up the perfume, and can range from plant and flower extracts to synthetically-created) of RED. It is a little bit spicier than I wanted. This is going to be the bottle that sits as a decoration. These views are my own, again everyone's body chemistry is different and the notes that stand out to me the most is Blackcurrant Hot Black Pepper. I go more for the sweeter like Vanilla or Cucumber. I really wanted to offer more stars for the Nuvo Homme eau de toilette for men that I purchased at a discount for my husband. I promised to give an honest and unbiased opinion so here goes... The smell is not the problem, it is the lackthereof. I mean like, you spray on the Nuvo Homme, and within five minutes the smell is gone. As this is our second purchase from the Nuvo Parfums line, the inability to linger seems common. The smells are really worth every penny you spend, but unfortunately the smell doesn't last long.The bottle is quite classy looking, like a light steel gray or dove gray if you prefer. The lid is small and black. Very nice. The box arrived quickly and safely. My contact with customer service was positive, the seller polite, friendly, and attentive to my needs.
