For the price, didn’t expect a ton. Got as a backup. First time in the water today, seemed a pretty decent output. Decided to use it to try and familiarize myself with the light. Went pretty good at first, pretty good light output (river dive, 8-10 foot visibility). Unfortunately, at some point, the rear binding for the wrist strap must have broken, (I clipped it on to that point to keep myself from dropping it, and I still had the locked closed clip on me), it was gone. Funning thing, when you need a light in the first place, not having one makes it hard to locate items. After 10 minutes looking, I assumed the current took it or it got lost to the dirt clouds. Pity, seemed okay a light, but if you get one, re-do the included strapping to make sure it doesn’t come apart on you. Wast of $20 for me.

I have been diving them in Florida caves down to 100 feet. They work great. I have three I just bought three more as back up lights. They do not flood. They have three settings; Full power, 50% power, and a flash. I do not care for the flashing as these are very bright blinding under water even in a cave. They use that 18650 rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries. I tested them at high setting they burned for 4 hours with included battery. The charger they provide takes all day to charge one time. I suggest you buy this charger it comes with 4 batteries and charges two batteries at a time in about 2 hours. The video is of me and my family we all have the same light. Divers should be aware they will not be able to operate the switch underwater. The same double O-ring seal used to close the battery compartment is also the on off switch. It should be turned on and fully sealed before being submerged to prevent water intrusion.

Originally I bought this for caving, it's waterproof, uses 18650's, and it's focused for a high beam effect. Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of giving it a trial by fire through a cave system yet, so I can't say how durable it really is. However, I do use this flashlight at work all the time. I call it the big daddy light, especially when a coworker is slaving over their phone light in a dark space. This flashlight floods a dark room with wholesome diffuse light.I was surprised at the battery life on this sucker, it stays bright up until you know for sure it's time to charge it. With moderate use, that's a charge once every 2-3 weeks.I can't say how water tight it is, because I'm not a diver, or a river junkie. But with THREE o-rings, you really can't go wrong. I can't imagine the true depth resistance, but it's certainly more than I'll ever need.Overall, if you're looking for an easy use, long lasting flashlight for general purposes, I highly recommend the one you're reading the review for right now.

I purchased this as a gift for my Mom. When she walks her dog in the evenings -- in the Northeast in winter, dark starts before 5pm -- and this is a great hands-free option for her. I've been looking for some time for a hands-free option that worked for her that wasn't a hat or a watch. There was a short lived product for As Seen on TV that was called the Hex Light that wrapped around the arm. Unfortunately, that item isn't for sale still. But this item was the next best thing.I can't verify it's actual use as a scuba light. But it works great for walking the dog. It's light, bright, and the rechargeable battery -- with charger included -- is a great benefit. The strap could be a little more comfortable, but otherwise a solid purchase.

This is a killer flashlight for when you are walking the dog at night and then can't find her poop! The cool part about this one is that it is on your wrist, so you aren't juggling a million things while also trying to hold on to the dog/leash. I know this isn't the intent, but it is nice. We have a very high energy lab, and she generally gets walked, rain or shine, so they fact that this is waterproof is even more handy. Super bonus points for a rechargeable battery. Less batteries in landfills (where they shouldn't be) is a huge pro to us! All in all great light, decently comfortable, but wrist strap could be a bit more padded. All in all worth it for short periods of use!

I got this for my son for a scuba diving trip. He came back after the trip and reported he ended up sticking it in his BCD pocket to be a backup, but couldn't function as his primary. I guess it kept on twisting around his wrist and making him crazy. Also, he wasn't happy with the beam. I didn't try it myself, but that's the feedback I got.

The flashlight itself is a good, relatively small bright light powered by a rechargeable battery and it comes with a 100-240 VAC battery charger. The price for the flashlight is very competitive. The direction booklet that comes with the flashlight was written by a non-English speaker and it makes very little sense. The best thing to do with the booklet is to put it in the recycle bin. However, that does not diminish the value of the light itself.
