Beautiful warm henna- like russet brown (not sepia) color fun with cappucino sketchbook paper, or on toned papers. Anyway the set is plenty big that you can put one in each of your tote bags according to your whim. Waterproof to watercolor over. Great for nature or urban sketching. even the case is nice.

I’ve always loved these pens because of how high quality they are, but these ones did dry out after one project…maybe I used them too much?

I ordered these because they were reasonably priced and had good reviews. I'm so happy with them. I'm learning how to watercolor and some of the lessons ask you to go back over with pen. I'd already done a color swatch and decided to try a pen swatch page. I love being able to glance at my page and see how the different pen sizes affect the picture. It's way more fun that just straight lines to easily see at a glance. The pens feel nice in the hand and the package they come in very handy. They store neatly with my painting supplies. I'll be buying more from this company.

These pens are fantastic!!! If you are looking for a budget friendly version of the main micro pen brand, you have found the one. I've used them on all types of paper with varying degrees of thickness. I do not find the pens bleed through the paper, but I still use a scrap page in between to be safe. These are great pens.

They dry out super fast! They skip release ink every time I first use them. I'm talking about the same pen. Once I pull the cap off, I have to swirl around on a scrap of paper to get the ink flowing. Yet even doing that, they will skip releasing the ink when I'm drawing. I mostly use it for underlining in a book. Very frustrating. I've tried several in the pack I received, and so far, every one of them does the same thing. I wanted them to work because they do not bleed through the book pages like other fine-point pens, but they skip and release the ink so much that I have to re-underline several times to get a solid line.
