Works well with the Poly - Voyager Focus 2
I don't usually write reviews for products, but I noticed that this product has mixed reviews, and I thought I'd share my experience here. I have this base paired with my (Poly - Voyager Focus 2), which I bought separately. The base is also connected to my Laptop via a USB cable for Teams calls & all the PC audio (music, video, etc). I also have the base connected to my Cisco desk phone. The bottom side of the base (shown on 1st picture) has all the dials for adjusting the volume and the microphone gain (I believe this only applies to desk-phone calls). I have been using the base with my headset for over a week now, and I have not had any issues with connectivity. The range is great, although, I have not really measured the maximum distance in feet, but for my office, it works really well. On a side note, I have my headset (Poly - Voyager Focus 2) paired to my cellphone via Bluetooth at the same time. To summarize, this base allowed me to connect my laptop, my Cisco desk-phone, and my cellphone to (1) headset simultaneously.

Excellent charging setup
Works just as expected. Keeps your headset charged and looks good on your desk. Highly recommend. Very nice because it keeps you from having cords all over your desk.

Very large range
This device expands the wireless range of a compatible headset considerably beyond reasonable distances. It was easy to pair and hook up to the appropriate devices. The Bluetooth range for my headset went from literally a few yards to working all over my current office space and house. I went to the back corner of my yard and had no problems.

GARBAGE SUPPORT
In a nutshell, you should only buy this headset or anything else from Plantronics/Poly if you hate yourself. Because at some point you're going to need support. And that support will come from HP. And if you don't know what that feels like, then you've clearly never shaved your head with a cheese grater before. Your device will stop working properly. You will contact support. They will create a ticket for you. 1st level support will not fix your problem. Level 1.5 support (never heard of that before, ever, anywhere), will then be notified and they pledge to call you in 48 hours. When they do call, their caller ID says either HP or RoboCaller. Nice. They do not leave a message. They send you a message saying they've tried unsuccessfully to reach you, and then they close your ticket. For my device, the following happens: -checking for updates literally doesn't. wheel just spins, never updates, never gives you a time out or error message -battery is either at 75% or critical, no steps in between at all. -but the iOS app will give you accurate battery info. -The only way to update the headset is connecting directly to USB, not through the Office Base. What? -Randomly will not connect to the desk phone. -Hard buttons randomly do nothing except the "Teams" button which simply switches your desktop over to Teams. High quality hardware from a proven brand marred by garbage sw and abysmal HP support. Run away. Ever.

Life saver
I was moved to another account that uses a hard phone. So my bluetooth poly voyager 4300 no longer will work in avaya… but with this base i was able to use it

Good idea, poor execution
I got this to have a wireless solution for my office. While it does the job, the implementation of the hardware controls leaves much to be desired. Buttons frequently don't respond exactly the same. There's no way to default the headset to my desk phone. Everytime I put it in the dock, it defaults it to both channels off or just the computer. I wish there was a way to combine computer audio and desk phone audio. Great concept, but they need to make the device a bit smarter. It does the job for me but I can see this being confusing for less technologically inclined users.

Good office phone functionality
Bought this for my office phone setup and it works great. It only works with the Focus 2 bit once everything was set up it was great. The only thing I wish it would do is let you answer the phone from the headset and not have to press the button on the base. You can hang up via headset. Good solution to tie into an office phone system.

Funktioniert alles 1A. Switche damit nun easy zwischen PC-Calls und Tischtelefon-Calls. Kein nerviges Wechseln mehr.
