Optimum Calcium Citrate, 180 Caplets

The main thing I like about these caplets is that they're easy to swallow. I've used another brand, and it was so big (with the same mg) that they would get stuck in my throat because they were not coated, and I'd panic trying to get them to go down. Thank goodness for these! Also, I've taken calcium for a long time, and the price is really good. My calcium levels are checked every six moths, and they're always good, so the level of calcium absorbed is very good.

It was just calcium with no other vitamins included. That is hard to find. I already had other vitamins included in my multivitamin I am taking, so I just needed the calcium

I lost my parathyroids in tonsil surgery, so I don't absorbe calcium well. I have to take MASSIVE amounts of calcium to aborb what I need. These are the only high-dose, pure calcium tablets I've found that I can swallow easily.

Easy to swallow, no taste problems, seems to absorb. I have been taking this an hour or so after taking liquid vitamin K2.

It's hard to find Calcium Citrate without Vit D3 in it and I needed it to supplement the Calcium Citrate with D3 that I take in order to get theamount of calcium I need without getting too much D3. I looked in local stores without luck but found it here. It was very easy to order.It arrived quickly and price was reasonable. I've been taking this product for 6 months, so I new it was good and causes less gas than calcium carbonate or oyster shell calcium.

The strength is too low to be of use to me.
