Fantastic for all ages
I chose this tube after seeing it recommended for young riders, because it is extremely stable. I am a grandparent and have always felt somewhat unsettled when the kids tube. They can handle themselves in the water, but they have never been dumped off a tube, so I still always worried whether they would handle it well. So when I saw reviews saying this tube is pretty close to untippable, I knew we had to try it. It absolutely lived up to its reputation. We tow it with a tritoon with a 150hp engine and we use a shockball and a 60’ row rope. It performs beautifully. The kids are ages 4, 6, and 9 and they all loved it. We typically tow at about 20-22 mph (15-18 if the 4 yr old is riding), and while we never attempt to tip the kids, we also do not need to be overly cautious when using this tube. We can easily turn so they get the thrill of the increased speed, but the tube never shows any sign of tipping and there is never any air under the tube - it sticks to the water like it was glued there. I think the side wings are what really makes the difference - they stabilize the tube more than the average tube of this type. For the 6 and 9 year old, we sometimes tow them chariot style. Be aware that when first starting up in this position, the tow point of the tube does have a tendency to dip forward and under the water a bit, even with the shockball. We figured out that the way to prevent this is to have the kids on their knees, holding on, but leaning back so they are counterbalancing the tipping, and then to start up pretty quickly. As soon as we get going the kids can kneel upright with no problem. We also towed adults with kids. The four year old went with his mom, who weighs about 130. We were initially concerned that the disparity in their weight would create problems, but there was no issue at all. We also towed the 9 year old and a 200 lb adult man chariot style. The 9 year old knelt in front and the grownup knelt behind him and held on to the handholds that are farther out. Again, no problem at all other than needing to lean back at start up.We really could not be more pleased. This was the first tube I ever felt 100% comfortable towing young kids on. It was a huge relief to see them having so much fun without the worry of tipping. They would have loved to go even faster than our max speed, and I’m confident we could have safely done that, but we don’t because in a turn the tube is moving about twice the speed of the boat (any tube is, not just this one) and if by any chance they did tip, 50 mph is awfully fast for a kid to hit the water and keep their wits about them. As they get older we may increase speed but for now 20 mph is plenty.Highly, highly recommend this tube. Also I would advise getting a shockball - I’m amazed at the difference it makes and am sold on always towing with one.

Best Tube Out There!
This tube is super stable, and it has the ability to be pulled forward or backward. My kids much prefer the forward, sitting orientation, but they have also tried the backward, chariot option too. It's great for jumping waves! Riding this tube is by far our kids' favorite activity on our annual trip to the lake. Every day, it's "When can we go tubing?" We purchased our first Warbird in 2015. It lasted a good 5 years, but then started changing shape. By year 7 it was almost spherical, and unusable. Thinking that the cover had stretched out, I ordered a new cover directly from Airhead. Turns out, the cover wasn't the problem, it was the inflatable portion, i.e. the main tube. Unfortunately, Airhead was out of stock of the main tubes when I learned of this, so I ended up ordering an entire new Warbird from Amazon, in order to save our summer vacation. To my surprise, Airhead was kind enough to let me return the replacement cover, even though it was almost one full year after I had placed the order. All around, a good experience with product and company, and we're thankful for the great memories this tube has afforded our kids.

Love this tube!
Got this few years ago then decided to get super mable as I see so many people having It and I hated it. Bought this tube again and never going back! Way better built, super mable sinks, my little girl almost drowned, unsafe. This tube is very safe and you don’t get as splashed. Much more enjoyable ride.

Awesome tube
The tube is huge and very stable. I dropped a star because there isn’t a quick connect on both ends. The knot is hard to get undone after towing as a chariot. I found one in my boat barn but I recommend ordering an extra one when you order the tube.

Great , safer float for kids
We used this float last Sunday for first time, kids and adults loved it, never fliped over, hitting other boat waves at 40 mph slinging float out it jumped across waves and at times 5ft in air but never even come close to flipping over, id recommend this float for anyone who has small kids that want to have fun on the water safely, only thing is pulling chariot style go slower for small children and dont lean forward, lean back and enjoy the ride, i also didn't flip it in chariot style, but its more likely too flip in chariot style, this is far best float we ever owned for all ages of children, we have a float that's like a jet ski its best float for adults we've had it 20 years , dont make anymore It'll fly 10ft. In air or dive, reason for getting this float, anyway we love this float cant go wrong with it , it is tons of fun, enjoy.

Great Tube for Kids!
I have a 4 year old and a two year old and they absolutely love this tube for the following reasons:- It is wide, so they don't have to worry about tipping over- They can ride it without getting in the water- Plenty of handles, so they can ride with their friends or parentsI love it because I don't have to worry about the kids falling off. It's also great for pulling my wife and 14 year old. On a calm day I can pull them really fast, but if the waves are up I slow down and let them catch some air! They like going airborne because the landings are soft. I've used this for 2 months and have yet to throw someone off. You would have to intentionally throw them off...it's not going to happen by accident. Here are some other useful points:- Because the tube sits on top of the water, there is almost no drag.- You can easily fit three regular sized teens on this (five if you put two on the back)- The tube is big (I have a Rinker 226 and it's almost as wide as my boat)- After several weekends the tube has not faded (my boat is under a covered dock and I deflate it during the week) and there are no tears or scratches.
