This was recommended to me by my yoga teacher as an alternative to foam rolling. It is expensive, but I had just received a gift card, so I used it to purchase the Spinefitter. It is not as intense as a foam roller, but the Spinefitter gets into the spaces between your shoulder blades where the knots are. I'm still experimenting with different ways to use the Spinefitter to hit my IT bands and hamstrings, but it is nice and I do like it. Great for end of the day, right before bed.

I own so many foam rollers and different soft tissue contraptions but this is my new best friend. At this stage of where my tissue is at I use 2 of these and I bought the extension piece and I just use the attachment to hook 2 of these together.I then lay down from head to toe or down the side body, down the entire lateral lines and I feel a full sode release and softening. Great great addition that I use every day. I even carry the small extension piece for car rides I soften as I drive lol.So happy to have come across this.

They had these in my Pilates class. I decided to order one for home and not disappointed.

Referred by a Physical Therapist friend. As a Dr of Occupational Therapy I do a lot of core body work and this thing is great. My noncompliant husband uses it for back pain successfully

This product is amazing. It relieved my back pain after 1 use. Granted will need to use it regularly to keep pain free. Multiple uses as well. I use it to replace the painful foam roller. This is so much better!!

I did have to poke around online a bit to figure out how to use this, which was kind of annoying - would prefer more detailed instructions in the printed booklet that came with it. That said, it's not worth even taking off one star because I am so glad I found this device, it is totally unique! I've used a TON of different foam rollers, pressure point relievers, etc. Despite all the expensive tools out there, just a plain old lacrosse ball has tended to give me the most relief from muscle dysfunction, so much so I've often wished I could have more than one of them working together. Well, spinefitter must have heard my wishes because that's exactly like what this thing is. The balls are actually super dense similar to a lacrosse ball, not squishy at all. So when you angle it under you, the foam sinks deeply into your muscles but not bony points like spine and pelvis. I feel so much relief just lying down on it, whether I'm on my back or side, and pressing into my tension points is total bliss. I also got their Pillow, and feel even more strongly about it - I have bought a billion pillows for my achy neck, and this one is SUCH an unusual shape, I feel like my neck is actually longer after about a week of use.

Very helpful for working on sticky spots for spinal articulation!
