Much better quality than I expected for the price. I was expecting thin, cheap plastic, but they are actually thicker and seems durable. Nice looking for training with sufficient drainage allowed.

These are made of plastic but are a great price so I am using them as a starter pot for my bonsai plants.

Bought a small ficus Gensing at a local grocery store. The tree was planted in a small tight pot, it was asking to be repotted. I ordered Bonsai soil and this bonsai pot, and repotted my ficus Gensing with a few fertilizer pellets mixed in Bonsai soil. Now the roots can breathe more. Hope my tree thrives! The pot is sturdy and the mesh at the bottom drains excess water. The Bonsai soil is a must because it is specifically designed for bonsais. This is a great price for the size.

My plants are thriving in these little pots. They are small enough to put on a windowsill, if desired, but i keep mine on a tray on a wire rack under grow lights. The pot has to be seated a certain way in the tray so that it's flush, which I find a bit odd, but it's not a major inconvenience. The plastic is heavy duty and there is good drainage.

The title says it all. The pot and tray is very well designed: both fit well together (the pot will not slide sideways) and the water on the tray is contained under the pot (no standing water). Excellent purchase.
