I have several of these rugs and they are ideal for outdoor use especially over aged wood decks where splinters can be a problem. They shed water when it rains and are cool on bare feet in the hot sun. But recently I found a new use and it involves my utility room floor that effervescences or sweats on high humidity days in summer. I bought one of these rugs, put it down, and no more slick, slimy floor and no more running a floor fan or dehumidifier in that room. It's amazing! The floor no longer sweats even around the exposed perimeter. I have been looking for a solution for years and this is it! I now know that the carpet pad with plastic on both sides sold specifically at Home Depot/Lowes will indeed work under my new carpet also going over the same slab in a different room.Update: As stated previously, I have four of these rugs that have stood up to the elements for many years but this rug from this company has disintegrated into flimsy hunk of colorless plastic with layers of the color peeling off, loose stitching and the edges coming apart after just a couple of months out in the weather. I would not buy from this company again.

The quality of this product is awful by my standards! The stitching around the edges and down the middle to hold the two sections together is horrible at best. It is so loosely woven everything pokes through it...the picture submitted shows how easy it is to slide the fibers apart and poke your finger through. The product comes rolled up which has left creased in many places that may settle out in the sun but we never gave it a chance...it's heading to Goodwill. All things considered, there are many other RV mats of better quality for the same price and we wasted the our money on this one. Going back to Camping World mats.

It looks great but doesn't do well in the sun. Turns brittle and flakes everywhere. Total mess!

Had it outside for less than two weeks and the plastic was coming apart so there were shreds of plastic in my house and covering my porch, especially when it rained. Also, when unfolded, the pattern on the fabric did not line up with where they sewed the two halves of the material together. Poor quality. Having said that, customer service was excellent to work with through Amazon.

As of today 9/1 it is falling apart.

This is a poorly constructed rug. They just took 2 rugs and poorly sewed them together. The stitching was already coming undone when I received the rug it was also split and broken in places from the way it was packaged and delivered.
