How many fluid ounces does this ladle hold?

The ladle holds about one cup of liquid

Is the black "scoop" portion of the ladle hard or squishy like traditional silicone?

Hey there, the black silicone is hard on the three different pieces I have…it’s not ‘ squishy ‘ like spatulas tend to be. I really like them.

Can this line of utensils from staub be washed in a dishwasher?

Because of the wood handle, it is recommended that you hand wash and hand dry these items. Do not wash them in the dishwasher.

Wish ladle was bigger

You can always count on STAUB for high quality products. It would be nice for the ladle to be a bit larger like some of my other go to ladles. Easy to clean. Otherwise love.

Great Kitchen Tool

Staub makes great products, and this ladle is no exception. I love the feel & look of the wooden handle and plastic bowl. The bowl is the perfect size for moving a large volume of liquids between cooking vessels to storage or serving container.

Nice

Nice and sturdy, replaced my black plastic ladle for two reason. No nano plastic bleed and previous ladle had all these nooks and crannies in the handle making it so much added washing.
