it will add weightt to your stick and will need to be taped on heavily but it will protect blade although the blade wil not feel as natural as it would without it but it will protect your stick

Have 3/5 stars because I used the metal wrap around 4 times and durability is an issue considering price. I used this on my P28M blade. Install was easy. It will put superficial scratches on carbon.The stick feels like a war ax in terms of feel. The hockey tape doesn’t help. But once it wears out not bad.I’d recommend this for a training tool if it lasted longer or was at a better price point. Also consider a blade with less curve would increase durability?

Greatest ! My son uses on his Ice Hockey stick when he practices inside or outside the house (no ice)

Item is durable, but unfortunately I had to return as the weight from the metal caused for the product to come off the stick even when tapped. Works great for stick handling, but would not shoot at it. Definitely going to try the plastic version!

Affects shot quite a bit, doesn’t hold on well, tabs were smashed on arrival.

This product is horrible!! Stay away. It ruins the blade on your stick. I had a brand new ice hockey stick and was excited to use this wrap around to practice off the ice. All it did was scratch up my blade.

The piece is useful to protect the stick, and as far as that goes it does the job. However, you really should not shoot at all with this. The packaging tells you as much, and you should follow that indication. Mine actually snapped after merely three non-consecutive hours of use.I also use the other, plastic, model which is much better, more resistant, and cheaper. Get that. Don't get this.

I would not recommend it as it is heavy and not good for a 12 yr old. It doesn't fit well over the blade.
