Great mat!
My kids are taking Zoom gymnastics, dance, and martial arts classes during quarantine. I was looking for a high-quality 4x6x2 mat that would be suitable for all of their activities, and this mat is perfect! I realized, after placing my order, that this company sells this "Personal Fitness & Exercise Mat" as well as (a more expensive) "Gymnastics Mat". I emailed them to ask what the differences were, and here is their response:"The main difference between the Tumbling mats and the Exercise mats is the foam core. Our Tumbling mats have a firm Crosslinked Polyethylene foam core, whereas the Exercise mats have a softer foam core. Tumbling mats need to be firm so that they can provide a stable surface while practicing gymnastics. If the surface is too soft, then it can increase the chance of rolling an ankle or spraining a wrist. Exercise mats are designed to be use for personal exercises such as sit-ups or push-ups. Since the foam is softer than the tumbling mat, the Exercise mat is more comfortable to sit and lay on. Both the Tumbling mat and the Exercise mat are wrapped in durable 18oz vinyl cover and are constructed to withstand a variety of uses. The one unique feature of the Exercise mat is that is has carrying handles."I was concerned that the Exercise Mat would be too soft for my daughter's gymnastics classes, but it is actually quite firm. She is still a beginner, so this mat is perfectly fine for her current skill level.

Much better than the one I had been using.
My back has bothered me for about a year. I have some slipped discs. Also, I went to a back doctor and they sent me to a therapist. Then, they gave me a list of exercises to do. I first did them only when I back bothered me. Even though, the paper says every day. Haha I had a mat I got for my birthday. It was 1/8 thick. It was good. But, being 292 pounds, my hands really would hurt when I was doing what I had to.What to do?I looked online and found they had mats much thicker than the one I used. So, I waited a bit and ordered this one. It arrived today. Maybe I should have let it set outside to, well, with the stuff going on in the world, you know. But, it was sitting upstairs when I woke up. So, I bring it to my room and open it. The thing is in thick packing and then wrapped in some sort of paper. Ok, I open it up. Put it on my floor and lay on it. I found it very comfortable.I went about, doing other things and came back to my room some hours later. I did my exercises and it was the most comfortable time I have had.The mats feel well built and sturdy. Easy to wipe off if anything gets on them. The only thing is that I am taller than 6 feet. So, I do say, I dangle a bit. Haha But, I have not the space for the 8 foot one. If I could order one more foot, I would.I totally recommend this to anyone who exercises.

Comfort for Sitting, Kneeling, Lying Yoga Poses
We Sell Mats 4 ft x 6 ft x 2 in Personal Fitness Mat.I lay this mat out behind my thin yoga mat. I use the yoga mat for standing poses which provides better balance. I use this 2" mat for sitting, kneeling, lying down poses which means no more pain from the hard floor! Finally I can do these poses in comfort. If I need the bare floor to dance, it's very easy to fold the 2" mat and set it aside.I've only had the 2" mat a few days, so can't speak to it long term. But I can say the material seems durable and the mat seems well made. I love the dark purple color. It arrived quickly and was packaged well.

Very satisfied with 6x4 black mat!
I debated over so many different types of workout mats for my home gym and finally rolled the dice on this one hoping it would be good for a variety of workouts. It arrived ahead of schedule, excellent condition, firm enough to do push-ups & yoga, but also cushioned enough for sit-ups or for my toddler to roll around on. It has Velcro to add on more mats. It’s light enough to carry pretty easily and has two large handles straps. Folds up nicely. Umm very satisfied!

What an awesome mat, get one!
I have a bad back and knees. I was looking for something thicker and this is it. I should have ordered one a foot shorter in width, I think it is a little wide, but that is okay if you take it camping for two people. It is great and very, very comfortable for yoga or any other exercises. I highly recommend this. It will be one of your better investments, trust me.

It is NOT lightweight, and it does NOT fold into a comfortable size to carry
The description is misleading. Purchased this thinking we wanted a 4' x 6' mat. that would be easy to carry (likely 2' by 3' in folded size, and lightweight. Instead, it came delivered 7" think, 18" wide and 48" long. It weighs 12 pounds and that is not lightweight to maneuver around the house where anyone wants to do exerrcises on the floor !!!

Very nice
We all like them. Connected 2, looks like one. Works great. One thing that I am not sure how it happened, my girls cleaned a spot with something that discolored it. I am not sure what they used. Mat is in the play room where they also do crafts and that goo thing, or whatever that is called. Somehow they managed to make a "spot" of a slightly different shade on the mat :)

The quality is very good, better than other mats I have bought on amazon
First of all, I really love the Prosource mat (6'x2') I have been using for a few years. I use it for yoga and HIIT workouts and I'm usually barefoot at home when I do them.I bought this mat (6'x4') because I needed the extra space for combination movements and when you do lunges and burpee type movements it is just way easier to have the extra space. Prosource doesn't have this bigger mat option without a considerable shipping cost, but I would have ordered from them if I could. So when I bought this mat I hoped for the best since it has excellent reviews. It lives up to expectations and the mat is actually more dense and stiff than the prosource and a few others I have bought here. I would definitely rate the quality of this mat as one of the best. It's professional quality I think, better than regular personal use mats.I have only used it a few times but the seams seem to be very good - they hold up really well when I'm doing burpee type movements since this mat is obviously made for gymnasts as I read the reviews. I'm really glad I decided to try out this brand. The one thing I should mention to potential buyers is that the outside packaging (grey plastic layer) was DUSTY - the dust was extremely thick and dark grey (like soot) and it stuck to my clothing when I picked it up. But the inside layer and the product itself was immaculate. I've no idea why but just be warned when you get it it might be extremely dusty.

Inaccurate description
I already have one mat from another company, but it's not large enough for my workout needs. I bought this second mat because of its size, the velcro strips that would allow me to attach it to my original mat, and because the description says it is nontoxic. So it was a bit of a shock when I received the item and saw Warning: Proposition 59 written on the box. I was undecided whether to keep it, but I opened the box and found the mat isn't 2" thick as advertised, but 1 1/2" thick. I wouldn't be able to create an even surface hooking the two mats together. I'm returning this mat.

Good quality
I got the 4x6 purple mat. It's convenient and easy to fold. I use it for high-intensity interval training workouts at home.Good quality a little bit expensive in Canadian dollars, but I'm still happy with my purchase. I can tell it will last a long time. Shipping was fast.
