Perfect for Sig P238 / Springfield 911 mag
This magazine pouch perfectly fits the magazines for my Sig Sauer P238,... which is a .380 ACP single stack x 7 rounds.fyi: these mags are also compatible with the Springfield 911.It's made for IWB, but I also wear it clipped at the top of my pocket (see photo), or down inside the pocket. When clipped to the pocket, the mag is not concealed and would be easy for someone else to grab, but I hide it under a cover garment (typ. long-tail t-shirt). [fyi: I've seen other options that allow you to clip to the pocket while keeping the magazine concealed further down in the pocket. ]It's very comfortable; much more comfortable than any of the rigid (e.g. kydex) IWB mag holsters I own. There is no active retention, but the magazine (currently) fits snug & secure for normal wear. However, that might loosen up with more wear/use. You can loosely hold the pouch upside down and shake the magazine loose. But when squeezed inside a waist band or belt, or in a pocket, it feels very secure. It is soft-sided, and offers padding for comfort and to protect the magazine from scratches or lite bumps. But, it doesn't offer protection from more significant physical forces. This might be more problematic for a longer magazine, but it seem fine for this small magazine.Because it's soft-sided, it can also be used to hold a flashlight. This small pouch holds a Streamlight PtoTac HL (see photo). When I open-carry (e.g. on my property or when training), I carry OWB or shoulder. In those cases, I prefer a rigid (e.g. kydex/metal) OWB mag holder with firm retention and more physical protection. But, for daily concealed carry, I typically carry IWB (or pocket in a pocket holster with trigger protection).I have several different types of rigid IWB magazine holders, but this Houston soft-sided mag pouch is my new favorite for IWB (or pocket) for this small magazine.

Honest opinion after adding this to my Every Day Carry
I purchased the large double stack 9mm/.40 for my Glock 19 mag. I was originally torn between the large and medium due to the in-between size of the Glock 19 fifteen round mag. Wore it for the first time today, been wearing it all day right beside my Glock 19 with no issues, it's very comfortable and I often forget it was there beside my firearm. This was exactly what I've been looking for, all day comfort while carrying another full capacity mag. Also I have a rather thick "gun belt" designed to support my firearm and anything else I want to carry. The clip on this magazine holster fits perfectly, which is a plus considering some brands don't fully engage over my thick belt. Printing is not an issue, as it sits flush right next to my firearm. In my opinion, I believe the large is a little long for the Glock 19 mag because it sinks down further than I'd like it to, but at least I know it's secure and won't risk falling out. Hopefully it holds up to everyday carry. Seems to be a very nice quality for the money.

The holster it self is good value for money
This is a two part review. 1) The holster, 2) Customer service.1. The holster it self is good value for money. It’s construction seems sturdy and well made. It held my 9mm single stack mag snugly. I had no worries about it falling out. I only have 2 issues with it. First the material is padded which add bulk to it. This wouldn’t be a problem if the padding made the holster more comfortable against my body, but it didn’t. That brings me to the second problem, it was no at all comfortable. The top of the holster doesn’t go far up enough to cover the top of my mag. This means that the top of the mag sits higher than the holster leaving the padding I talked about useless and the mag digging into my side. That being said, I am on the heavier side so maybe someone with a slimmer waist may have better luck.2) The customer service from Amazon and Houston Holsters is fantastic. After my holster had been delivered to a wrong address, Amazon promptly refunded my money. After seeing that the price of the holster had gone up after I bought it, Houston sent me the Holster for free. A+ customer service from both.

Most comfortable yet, reliable magazine holster!
This is a fantastic concealed carry mag-pouch. It fit perfectly with my Glock 43 mag. Most comfortable mag holster, by far. The mag is held tightly, but not too much, to easily remove. The one issue, which I barely consider an issuse, is if you are carrying IWB, it is a little difficult to guide the magazine back into the holster, without having to loosen your belt. But, this is still why I gave it 5 star. Because, if you are diving for your backup magazine in a real situation, you don't care about getting that back in, only about reloading. Otherwise at the range, just loosen the belt a bit and it slides right in. Sadly, I lost mine. I'm hoping to buy another soon. To sum up, extremely comfortable, secure, easy to attach, easy to draw from, helps conceal and finally quality built.
