Bot was doing dumb stuff and Roomba help was lacking… changed battery as last resort… works great now.

The directions made it easy to install in just a few minutes. The battery charged overnight and went to work the next day.Several weeks have passed and the battery does not seem to be charging. The Roomba will not start although the charge light shows. All we can get it to do is empty the bin then the red rim light comes on and the charge light comes on.

Several reviews say the instructions were very clear but there were no instructions with battery. Managed to get it installed and charged overnight but it couldn’t go 5 feet from charger without dying, couldn’t even make it back to charging base!! Tried twice!! Piece of junk!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Put this in and it works great. Roomba wanted $99 for it! This price was about half! Had to first reboot Roomba under settings in Roomba app then charge it. It had started bumping into things and getting stuck and not going by the map of my rooms. Original Battery was 2 years and 2 months old and they claim they only last 2-3 years depending on use. My house is 1, 878 sq feet. I also added tire treads to the wheels which did not come with them. Now it’s much more efficient and doesn’t get stuck as readily on carpet. I had to open the bottom and remove the wheel modules. The wheels are soldered on the module so it’s hard to put the treads on but it’s doable. Just unhook the spring inside fir better wheel access, then put the tire tread on. Connect spring mechanism back on. Works like a champ! Was worried it would make it too high on charger to charge but it didn’t. I won’t pay $169 to replace the 2 wheel modules! Ridiculous! This way cost me about $62 in total. Wheel treads are like $7-10 for a pair. Very happy with this battery!

I have 1st edition iRoomba s9+ I've had it for about 4 years. All the sudden it was given errors. I ordered this a new battery. Oh what a relief! As soon I I stalled this battery. Wow she was ready to go. The battery installed easy. The battery was 75% charged up. Almost all the errors I was getting (fingers crossed) are not happening. Go irobot roomba!!!
