Our air conditioner went out in car, it’s 9 years old, but air is used everyday. I live in a HOT area in California, (Manteca) so air is required. We got a $2000.00 quote to fix it, so instead, my husband replaced unit and then went to shop for final adjustments. In the end it was $600.00 rather than 2K. It works great, so if you are mechanically inclined or even can YouTube it, go for it. It works perfectly.

Cold cold cold air on my 2016 hunday accent
I just got the ac compressor Installed. So far my car ac works great. Like the original when I first purchased the vehicle. I live in Florida it is really hot. I didn't want to spend the money to put a new ac $1300 quote. I paid a mechanic $300 pluss the part and gas my total was $650. I safe my passenger window stated no wanted to go up I don't need to put my car window down now. I felt confident in buying this product it is sold by Amazon that is a pluss
