I can't answer that I ordered them for my daughter and I never saw them

Is it microwavable? Does it get very hot if micro'd?

Yes you can microwave this mug. However, please be sure you have liquid in the mug first. :-) It gets no more hot than any other stoneware type mug. Start with maybe 25 seconds and always be careful when you remove the mug with the hot liquid from the microwave.
