Extend the range of a 433 MHz garage door opener. Works great.
The first picture shows the unit with the included power cable pigtail, and the size of it compared to a quarter. The input and output connections are SMA fittings. The gain control allows boosting the input signal from 5dB to 11dB (± 2dB). It can operate with a power supply from 3.7V to 6V.The second picture shows a 6V power supply and the fittings used to connect a Keystone Heddolf 433 MHz garage door opener to the unit with the output connected to RG6 coax going to an outdoor 11dB Yagi antenna. All these fittings, the garage door opener, and the antenna are available on Amazon. This setup lets me operate my gate about 1000 feet away.

It works
Licensed Amaeteur Radio Operator. Tested this with a 433Mhz LoRa board and was able to boost my signal a bit. Limited testing so far, but 5.5 miles without the amp to 7.5 miles with it. Better antennas and placement on both ends could probably increase this a bit further. I'm also only putting 5v into this amp and running all default settings on the LoRa board.

Meshtastic 433 Confirmed
Paired this with a Heltec board, V3.1, and set it up with the android app on 433Mhz for testing in Amateur radio mode. Output power setting of 18 to this amp gave 1w (30dbm) with a draw of 760ma at 5v, Even the lowest setting of 1 (1.8mw) of drive was enough to trigger the automatic PTT. So far it works as expected. The claim it will also work at 868Mhz is next to check. I suspect if it does work there, it's should be used with a LPF to get true readings. So far, on the bench, this thing looks good. It appears to run cool under average load at 1w also.

Do not Use for LoRa in the USA!
Works well for the bands it supports, but they do not have a model that supports 915Mhz, which is the frequency band LoRa uses in the USA. Do not purchase if you live in the USA and plan to use this amplifier for LoRa. It would seem they have one for 868Mhz, which technically isn't in the band for US use, but it might just work!
