Anyone brought this on a plane? I'm wondering if its TSA approved

I had no trouble with it flying from New Hampshire to DC.

Do you have to wear a sock under it?

A sock is not necessary to wear under wrap. Heat or cold applied directly to bruised area. I used it for broken ankle. Placed cold wrap on ankle and then wrapped towel around foot for 20 min. Cold affect felt directly to effected area.

Does this cover both right and left sides and the back of the ankle?

Yes, it did for me. My ankle and foot was really swollen, but it worked great!

How long does it stay cold?

I have never actually timed it but it stays cold for more than an hour. I would put it on my ankle around 8pm, watch tv, and take it off around 10pm and it was still quite cold. Of course after that long, my ankle is used to it but touching it with my hands to take it off, my hands can feel how cold it still is. I really like this because it gets cold but it still flexible.
