This is a great kitchen tool
This is a great kitchen tool. I cook alot of meals that I check the internal temps of the meats. It is accurate and very easy to read. Unlike my old round dial I can also use this while making candy and caramels, Makes this thermometer a great tool to have in the kitchen. I like that it is digital readout and it is much quicker than my old dial one. Have used this a few times and was really impressed. I used it on beer can chicken and a roast. Very happy with this purchase.

Worked for bread dough and caramel.
This little thermometer has been great for taking he temperatures of water and dough when I am mixing up a batch of homemade bread. The stainless steel probe was easily wiped off to take a temperature reading from the baked brioche loaf to make sure it was not still raw inside. It is very simple to use, and can be used with only one hand if you are mixing or stirring something. I made sticky buns last week and I used this thermometer to make the caramel topping the correct consistency by controlling the temperature. There are some many kinds of instant read thermometers out there, but this one is well priced and works well, overall a good choice.
