I've used this for a few days in a row. it is a good size bag, and can hold a lot - which is a good thing and a bad thing! I'm pleased with the compartments and features it has. There were a couple things I was concerned about before buying this - whether a water bottle would fit in the side pockets - it does, and if my 15" laptop would fit, it does. You can also easily slip an ipad, a notebook or two, cords, etc. It all fits.A feature I'm pleased to discover is that the handles on the top can fold down into the bag.There are some downsides to the bag though: It's a bit bulky for a small frame - because it needs to be big enough for a 15" laptop, that can't really be changed. Also, the zippers are a little sticky. There is resistance when you close or open them. It's a bit frustrating, and I can now see why the zippers may have broken for other people. I'm hoping over time it will loosen up.The last thing is the flap in the front is frustrating. Although design wise, it makes the bag more appealing, it's not user friendly. If Kuprine was looking to improve their bag, I would upgrade the zippers and get rid of the flap. Though I like the small pocket.Otherwise, this bag is great so far. It's very reasonable for the price, and works well. I'd recommend it if you are looking for an all in one solution to carrying a whole bunch of stuff around as you navigate the world as a freelancer.

This is a well made computer backpack that, thankfully, doesn't look like a college/school backpack. It is made of a nice fabric and it look a bit like a fabric briefcase. It has decent padding in the laptop compartment and on the straps. The two handles on top are a very nice addition and if you tuck in the straps and carry it by the handles it looks like a vertical briefcase..The zippers only go around the upper part so if you are looking for a backpack that opens completely then this isn't for you. I don't need that so it is fine for me.As far as fit: I have an ASUS 15.6" GL553VE (actual measured laptop dimensions: 15 1/16" x 10 1/8" x 1 1/4") and it fits just fine and has a bit of extra room on all sides. I don't have a 17" to test.I do have two minor issues:First, the single, anti-theft, "double zipper" is interesting but it is NOT on the computer compartment! I would much prefer the special zipper either installed on BOTH compartments or, logically, at the very least on the padded compartment I keep my expensive laptop in. I don't care if someone grabs my ball point pens and magazines!Second, while the computer compartment is padded front, back and bottom, the bottom padding, while usable, seems a bit thin so if you set it down hard the laptop will only have a thin foam layer for protection.All in all it is a very nice backpack.

This is an updated review from my original purchase on 9/12/2017. The first back pack I received had damage to the top front pocket. The stitching was torn just a bit. As I thought would happen, as I used the back pack the stitching tore more. But before I had to leave for my trip I submitted a complaint to the seller. To my surprise I received an email with in the day. Their customer service was extremely fast and professional. They asked that I submit a photo of my pack to them and they would help me. I never though much would come from it but after messaging with them and they asked to speak to once I returned from my trip. When I did they asked for another photo and you could see the tear had gotten bigger. Again, with the same day they sent me a code to use on amazon. The code was to cover the cost of a new bag and they said I didn't need to send my previous one back!I do a lot of buying since I have prime and I have to say, this company is amazing. Never have I had such great customer service that went above and beyond.As fore the bag. It is very spacious and has many compartments. My 17.3 laptop didn't fit the actual compartment design for the laptop but mine is a very big gaming laptop. The build quality is really good and I believe my first one was just a random flaw.I would HIGHLY recommend this product and the seller.

I was pleasantly surprised with just how durable and well made this backpack is. It easily fits my 15 inch laptop in the main compartment, and could easily fit another in the separate laptop compartment. I can fit a five subject notebook, along with several books and textbooks with space to spare. The secondary compartment has a nice mesh pocket inside (good for an agenda or cell phone) and plenty of spots for pens. I can't fit a normal textbook in here, but I can fit three regular books, as well as my glasses case, and some snacks. There are so many useful pockets on this bag, I occasionally forget where I've put something. The side/water pockets are great because you can zip them closed to use as a small toiletries pocket, or open them and use the elastic inside for an umbrella or water bottle (I was able to fit a 1.5 liter water bottle in here, as shown in the picture). I had to take a point off versatility because even without stuff in it, this is a heavy bag. Because of this, it's best suited for older teens or adults, and isn't the best bag for a day trip. It's got nice shoulder and back padding though, so I don't mind carrying it for longer amounts of time.
