Continental Pair Grand Prix 5000 Folding Tires 700x25c Black Cream Road Race

I have used Continentals off and on over the last 15 years. I honestly cannot tell much difference between tires in terms of handling, traction, or ride comfort. To me all $60+ tires feel the same. These tires last well, resist flats as well as any others, and seem to perform as well as any others as far as handling wet or dry. One thing I can say is I was able to mount them on my Bontrager carbon wheels without using tire irons albeit my hands were sore afterwards. Bottom line- if you like the look and the price buy them- they are good tires.

I started using these about three years ago. This particular purchase was a very good deal, buying from the local shop is expensive. I have not had a puncture flat. I switched to latex tubes and replaced the rim tape with Velo plugs last year and have not had any flats at all since switching. While I am not terrible sensitive to the feel of road feedback, these tires are quiet, provide me with the grip I think appropriate.

Well made. Nice looking. Tough. The Germans are killing it with these tires. Already put 300 miiles on them.

These tires are premium. I did notice that they were faster than the stock tires that came on my Specialized Allez Elite. Not only did these tires feel good, they looked great too.I only gave them 4 stars because I think for the average cyclist-like me- who only cycles for health and recreation that these are not necessary. You can still cycle with, and probably get more miles out of cheaper tires. But man these are cool.

It can be install anytime anywhere on the road. Almost no need glue or double side tape.
