Q: Are these sweetened ?

The fruits are sweet, but do not appear to have any sugar or other sweetener added. They are not rolled in sugar or anything like that. Quite tasty!

Q: What’s the shelf life?

Apparently sweetened, dried fruit slices aren't for everybody. People who expected something other than they ordered, and ended up disappointed, wrote bad reviews. ( That's OK, it leaves more for me! LOL ) I Love these fruit slices, they're sweet, slightly tart, and just as described by the manufacturer. Shelf Life depends upon how they are stored. In a Freezer they will last Indefinitely. They are NOT Dehydrated ( Crisp ) but most of the water has been removed, so think of them like you do Raisins etc. In the fridge - 12 months, worst conditions -6 months. Try to store them Sealed, and un a Cool, Dry place for best results. ( Just between you & me: the only way a bag of these will last more than a month in my house, is if my wife Hides 'em! )

Q: Are these fruits processed within chemicals? Maybe sulphides or some other?

I don't think the presence of chemical additives can be determined by visual inspection..., may be by taste. These fruits are so highly sugared that they are stiff from a coating, so sweet that they are inedible!

Q: Are these soft enough for a denture wearer to eat?

YES, this product, Anna and Sarah Tropical Dried Fruit Mix is soft enough for a denture wearer to enjoy. I too have dental issues but had no problems chewing any of the fruit in this mix. We were very pleased with the freshness of each of the fruits in this mix. This mix was sweet, soft, flavorful and had retained the wonderful color of each fruit. This product is not the ordinary dried fruit mix you might find in a grocery store, this one is very special. The bag is a generous 3# and has lasted a long time, making this purchase a very good buy. This mix is a treat.
