Authentic
To b honest I was kind of nervous about this purchase cus there are so many fake ones out there, but I did my research and compared with many pictures and videos and the item is real, the serial number and the expiration date are in the correct order, the texture of the product is correct, the smell and the container are correct 2, as a consumers we have the obligation to educate our selfs so other don't take advantage of us. I am glad that I got a good one.

Reformed chapstick addict
I was a chapstick addict. My lips were always dry and peeling. I brought every chapstick under the sun, always buying into the promise that they would make a difference. I would have soft, smooth luscious lips. Ended up having drawers and drawers full of every brand of chapstick and still had dry, cracked lips. Then I stumbled upon this product at Sephora. Life changer! My lips are smooth and silky and I barely need chapstick during the day. You do wake up in the morning with your lips coated with a "gooish" feeling - but that is the point. It is a mask that is working on your lips at night. With a quick wipe, your lips will be spectacular. Highly recommend it and it is worth the price - you will save money not buying all those chapsticks!

NOT authentic LaNeige sleeping mask!
This does NOT have the same color, fragrance, taste or effect as the authentic LaNeige sleeping mask. It’s a horrible dupe. You won’t know the ingredients unless you can read whatever the Asian print is on the back. The last photo shows the fake on the left and the authentic on the right. Don’t be fooled. It’s not even a GOOD dupe!!!

Meh.
I got this because my sister said it was AMAZING and could repair the most crusty cracked lips like magic. I use it before bed and it really doesn't do much more than my homemade lip balm does. Plus I have no clue what's in it, since ingredients aren't listed in English. Overall, it just seems like a really expensive, normal lip balm. Comes with a tiny applicator that I never use because there is nowhere to put it attached to the jar.

It Works When Nothing Else Does
I bought the grapefruit version about a week ago after having done some research. I've tried just about every lip repair product from Jack Black to Bag Balm. Most chap sticks have practically no affect on my lips at all. I'm older which tells you right away that my lips are dry naturally, plus, they are particularly dry in the winter. I found that Laneige feels silky (not at all waxy) and while the softening effect doesn't last all day (neither do any of the other products), it does last longer. I just reapply as necessary (usually about 2-3X daily), especially at night. I'm quite happy with the product and will continue to buy it and use it.

Love!
This stuff is awesome. I have 0 complaints. From the smell (which is amazing!) to how thick it is. Usually in the daytime I would not want something so thick, but since this is an overnight sleep ‘mask’ it’s perect! It’s so thick and moisturizes so well! I wake up in the morning and have very supple and smooth lips! Love it. Would recommend and will purchase again.

like regular chaptstick
i could be mistaken, cus 1) im not sure if i have any underlying health issues where my skin in particular gets dry easily, and 2) admittedly i don't drink as much water as i should each day. That being said, the price for this was not worth it, considering it did about as much for my dry lips as regular chapstick does. I've seen reviews saying to apply overnight, and wake up with soft lips. But I tend to have to reapply at least 1 more time because by the time I'm settling in the first application dries up.Or maybe this isn't a legitimate product, who knows. If you have the money for it I suppose its fine, but personally I had hoped it would help my extreme cracked/chapped lips issue and it just wasn't worth it. A glorified chapstick at best.

FAKE PRODUCT
This is fake, it came unsealed and the information is different from the real lip mask that you can buy off of Sephora. Sellers like this can be charged for selling illegal replicas. Do not buy.

Fake product.
It’s a fake. Not at all like the picture or the sellers on their official website. This is the second time I’m buying this product hoping to get the original thing. I was assuming I bought from the actual Laneige sellers channel. Guess not. Won’t make that mistake again.

Fake / Counterfeit
It contains mineral or petroleum oil. Much more oily than the real thing. Construction of the case is also worse, the plastic is different and the logo is different to the real thing. Also found small particles inside (first image, brown spec - sits inside container against the side - never would pass QC at mass-market beauty manufacturer).Picture of side-by-side, fake is left. Real is right. Likely a copy of the Korean domestic version.Smudge test: product applied to paper and photo is taken from other side after a few minutes; left is fake product, right is real product. Indicates mineral or vegetable oil is used in the product.

Better as a lip gloss
I have heard so great reviews Von that but when I tried it I was disappointed. I have used it for 1 month and I don't feel any difference. I tried bigger quantity, less quantity but still no difference. However, I found it amazing as lip gloss and the colourand scent is beautiful.
